but daddy i love him!
“no, i’m not coming to my senses. i know he’s crazy but he’s the one i want.”
pairing: rafe cameron x innocent kook!reader
word count: 5.8k
warnings: smut, minors dni!!! dry humping & fingering. corruption kink of sorts (rafe and an innocent reader has taken over me fully i apologize). parental violence/verbal abuse. fighting. rafe showing his true colors but quickly hiding it from the reader because rafe is a big softie for them. pet names (sweetheart, honey, darling, baby, pretty/good girl). aftercare. let me know if i miss any!
mood board!
rafe cameron was bad news.
anyone in the outer banks could tell you that.
he was a fighter, a shit-talker, a guy who you couldn’t trust.
but there was something so intriguing about him that you just couldn’t turn away.
from the day you moved to island almost 10 years ago, you haven’t been able to get him off your mind. you would see him at parties, the country club, when you would hang out with his sister, around town on his motorbike with his buddies. but you had to push that crush deep down because no one in their right mind would go after that boy.
except you.
you stretched yourself on the court, waiting for your dad to come out with drinks before your tennis match. that’s when you saw him and his friends making their way to the locker room. they had just got done their round of golf, you could tell by their bags. you tried not to stare, but your eyes seemed to have a mind of their own.
“hey, y/n.” you heard him call, with a smirk painted across his face.
your face blushed and you waved to him. “hey rafe.” play it cool, play it cool.
you can see him look you up and down, staring at your legs. “nice skirt.”
you looked down at the new, white tennis skirt your dad had bought you for your report card. your fingers found a loose thread, beginning to toy with it to deal with the embarrassment you felt. “t-thanks.”
he nods before looking behind you. “mr. y/l/n.” he nods with a quick wave. you turn around to see your dad with two waters and a stern look on his face. “enjoy your game.” he says before going inside.
your dad stands over you as you sit, handing a water bottle over. “that cameron boy…” he lets out a deep sigh.
“what?” you question, getting up and brushing your legs off.
your dad pinches the bridge of his nose, closing his eyes. “he’s not the kind of guy you want to be friends with, sweetie. he’s a bad seed.”
“but how do you know that?” you question, trying not to sound too suspicious.
your dad picks up his racket and makes his way over to his side of the net. “i know ward cameron. and i know how rafe is just like his dad, thinks he can get anything he wants. thinks there is no consequences to life. but there is. there always is.” your dad shakes his head. “i saw him beating up some kid here not that long ago. sure, he was a pogue but doesn’t give rafe the right to walk around like the king of the outer banks. but until someone stops him, humbles him, things’ll never change.”
you stand there, uncomfortable. all you wanted to do was defend rafe, though you weren’t close like that. but your dad is a one way street. it’s his way or no way. so all you can do is nod. “oh…okay.” you say simply, getting ready for the match.
“just promise me you won’t get mixed up with the likes of that boy, please?” your father looks sincere.
you bite your lip and look down at your clean, white shoes. “yes sir.”
“good, now watch me beat you in tennis.” he says with a laugh. i fake a smile, getting on with the game, but still have rafe in the back of my mind.

you didn’t see rafe again until the night of a house party at topper’s house.
your friends and you walk in, buzzed from the pre-game. they immediately all go their separate ways, looking for drinks, boys, or both. this leaves you standing awkwardly by a table, talking to some people from school. they talk about prom, their grades, and teachers, making you mentally check out from the conversation. that’s when he catches your eye, he is talking to topper and kelce with a red solo cup in his hand. you watch his every move, how big and veiny his hands are, practically cover the entire cup. how he constantly pushes his hair back while he talks, almost seeming like a force of habit he has. he also licks his lips a lot, sending a very graphic image of rafe between your le-
he looks up, meeting your gaze. a blush forms on your face as you try to hide your embarrassment but taking a sip of alcohol from your cup. you give yourself some time, staring into the cup before looking up again. but when you look at him, he hasn’t stopped staring at you. the blush you fought so hard to keep away makes your face feel like it’s on fire.
you watch as he excuses himself and makes his way over to you. this has to be a dream? or some prank, right?
“hey there, y/n.” he snaps you out of your spiraling thoughts. every person who you are talking to looks over to rafe then back at you. “didn’t know you were coming.”
you awkwardly shrug. “last minute choice by my friends.”
his eyes burn holes into your body as he looks you up and down. “well, i’m glad you’re here.” you nod at him, offering a shy smile. “looks like you need another drink, come inside and i’ll get you one.” he nods his head towards the kitchen door. the group you're with is watching this conversation like it’s a TV show. you make my way through them and stand next to him. he automatically puts his hand on your back and leads you inside. the feeling of his touch sends chills down your spine but it almost feels like his hand is meant to be there. like his touch is the missing piece in your life.
you get into the kitchen and he heads towards the fridge, grabbing juice and handing it over. “you strike me as a vodka and juice, girl.” he says with a smile, making my insides melt.
“and what makes you say that?” you ask, putting your hand on my hip, playing into his little game of flirting.
“well, you’re sweet and you seem to play it safe. you don’t really drink a lot but when you do, you’re never blacked out.” he admits with a laugh, giving his diagnosis. “juice is sweet and vodka is the safest way to get a little drunk, in my opinion.” he stares at your face, waiting for a response.
“you’re good, rafe cameron. a little too good.” you admit, grabbing the juice and filling up the cup. he stands over you, giving me the vodka next. “didn’t know i was that easy to read.”
“you’re not.” he admits, staring down at you while you drink. “i just think i have a special interest in you.”
you freeze in place, there’s no way he’s admitting this to you. right now. the boy you’ve been pining after since the first grade. you can tell you're shutting down but you need to play it cool. “oh really?” you look up at his blue eyes, getting lost in them instantaneously.
“really.” he steps closer, inches away from my face. you know you are not that drunk but your head feels like it’s spinning under his gaze. he leans in a little closer, your noses brushing, when the kitchen door slams and topper can be seen stumbling in. his obnoxious laugh fills the room, making rafe close his eyes and sigh. “what could you possibly want right now?”
topper laughs and comes up beside rafe, he’s clearly fucked up. “i’m just looking for some weed, man.” he hits his chest playfully. “don’t let me get in your way.”
rafe pushes him away, making topper laugh harder at us. he looks at you before speaking. “sorry for being a cockblock.”
rafe narrows his eyes at him. “just get the fuck outta here, top.”
topper staggers into the other room, still laughing.
“sorry about him. when he drinks, he becomes an asshole.” he says, running a hand across his face.
“is he drunk all the time?” i ask with a new found confidence in my voice.
rafe looks at me and laughs. “seems to be.”
you both stand in silence, not moving away from each other but unable to bring the moment back.
“i like you.” he admits.
you stare at him, unable to speak. “w-what?”
“i think you heard me, y/n.” he smiles cockily, looking into your eyes.
you look back at him. “you barely know me, rafe.”
“doesn’t mean i can’t like you.” he sips his cup and nudges your shoulder with his. “i think you could say the same about me.” he gets closer, whispering into your ear. “don’t think i don’t notice how you stare at me when i’m around.”
you feel the air leave your body and you bite your lip. you feel like your cornered and have nowhere to go. “i-i-uh…”
he brushes his finger against your lip, almost like he’s shushing you. but you can’t even fight the way your body reacts to his touch. “it’s okay, honey. i like it. i like it a lot.” he says in a whisper, almost making you forget you aren’t the only two people in the world. it feels like you can read his mind just by looking into his blue eyes. he wants you…screw that, rafe cameron needs you. and you need him. forget what your father says, or the town, or even your friends. this seems to be all you need.
how am i ever going to recover from this? you thought to yourself.
you hear your friend call your name from outside. rafe looks over as they yell from outside. “i’ll see you around, how’s that sound?” you look at him, unable to think when he looks at you like this. his hand brushes against your face before walking back out into the party.
you stand there, still as your friend comes in. “you alright? looks like you seen a ghost or something.” she asks you, laughing a bit.
“all good.” was all you can get out, staring straight ahead at the door rafe just left in.
───✱*.。:。✱*.:。✧*.。✰*.:。✧*.。:。*.。✱ ───
ever since the party, rafe found little ways to be around you.
whether it was joining you at the country club while you played tennis or hanging around you when he saw you at the beach reading. he even started knocking on the front door of your mansion to just talk on your porch, something you had to hide from your dad. with these interactions, you had no idea what everyone was warning you about with him. he was one of the sweetest guys you ever met. for weeks, you and rafe had begun a nice friendship.
but the almost kiss at topper's party was never spoken of again.
the two of you sat on your porch swing, the air was warm as summer was slowly approaching. your legs laid flatly across rafe’s lap, looking directly at him. you poured a glass of lemonade for you both, sparking rafe to hit you with a “you sure you don’t want some vodka in this?”
when you’re with rafe, the conversations seem to just flow like you are the oldest of friends. you could talk about anything and nothing at the same time. he went on for the past five minutes about how he used to love playing lacrosse but one injury affected his whole career for him.
“it sucked, ya know? i never felt like i belonged anywhere, or had a close bond with anyone like i did on that team. then one fucking torn acl later and it’s all gone for me. i had college scouts looking at me and everything. i could’ve escaped this place and lived the real college experience.” he looked out into the water that faced your house. he turned to you and smiled awkwardly. “jeez, i’m sorry i just don’t shut up.”
you chuckle at him, loving how he put some of his walls down around you. “it’s okay, i like hearing ya talk. it’s soothing.” you smile innocently at him.
he gazes into your eyes and nods, his expression softening. “really?” you nod and he just stares at you. “you’re one of a kind, ya know?” his fingers start to rub innocent circles on your leg.
“and why’s that?” you ask him.
“i-i don’t know, i feel like i can be myself around you.” he admits. “don’t ever quote me on that because i’ll deny that shit.” he points, gaining a laugh from you.
“don’t want anyone to know rafe cameron can be a softie?” you tease him.
“shut up, i’m not a softie.”
“i think you can be behind close doors.” you say.
he stops rubbing your leg and turns to you. “oh shut up.”
“well, you’re gonna have to make me then.” you say without thinking.
rafe looks at you with a fire in his eyes that you haven’t seen since the party. “what was that?” he cocks his eyebrow at you.
you just stare into his eyes, straightening your shoulders back. a confidence striking you like never before. “i think you heard me, rafe.”
without missing a beat, rafe connects your lips. all of that pent-up tension, gone within that very second. his hands found his way to your face, cupping it ever so lightly like you were a delicate flower he was so lucky to have found. his hands slowly slid down your body, like he was trying to memorize every inch of your skin. "jesus, this is all i've been thinking about." he said breaking away, looking into your eyes.
"then, don't stop." you say breathlessly, climbing on top of his lap, kissing him again.
you can tell this move took rafe by surprise as he let out a soft moan in the kiss. the innocence he once thought you possessed was now all gone. you slowly began grinding yourself against rafe's clothed cock, which was slightly hardening. "fuck, who knew you had it in you, honey." he said as he kissed down your jaw. you never felt so needier in your life chasing a high with rafe that you thought you could only dream about.
your face blushed as you looked down at rafe who was staring up at you like you were a painting held high in the louvre. the more you looked down, the more self-conscious you became. your pace which was rapidly increasing started to falter. "hey, hey, sweetheart. don't stop now. what's wrong? talk to me." he caressed your face so lovingly.
you bit your lip and closed your eyes, still out of breathe. "i-i-i don't know. what if i'm doing this wrong? or it's weird for you? i'm just nervous, i never did this before."
"did what, sweetheart? dry humped?" he almost laughed, pushing hair out of your face.
you shrugged. "well yes and no..." your voice started to trail off.
"yes and no?" rafe stared at you with a puzzled expression, trying to crack the code. you watched as he deciphered your words and the gears started to turn. "y/n, have you ever been with someone like...sexually before?"
you wanted to cry, the embarrassment being too hard to handle. you just laid your head against rafe's chest and sighed. "please, don't think of me any differently. i just...i just haven't found the right person to do all this with, ya know? i used to be scared but with you...i don't know, i feel ready." rafe sat there in silence, his hands falling to your waist and gripping them. you break away from his chest and stare into his eyes, which have seemed to darken. "rafe?"
"you trust me?" he asks simply. you nod shyly, causing his breath to hitch. you can feel his pants grow tighter under you. "i want you to keep going, do you hear me? don't stop until you cum on my pants." it sounds like he is giving you orders. he brings his thumb across your lip and gives a menacing smirk. "you wanna be all mine, huh? you pretty girl. show me your mine."
with his reassurance, you pick up you begin to rub yourself against his pants. your hands grip his shoulders as he holds you down on him. "good girl, keep it going." the material of his jeans feel rough against your clothed cunt but it adds a sensation you have never felt before. "shit, look at how pretty you look on me. can't wait to bury my cock inside you. would you like that? my cock being so far inside you, you can feel it in your stomach?"
you let out a pathetic whine, your head falling back from the pleasure you have building up inside. "y-yes."
"good girl, but we gotta start with the basics, right?" his hands start to trail up your body, stopping at your closed breasts. he cups them with his hands and smiles when you cry his name. "i got you, baby. c'mon, you know you wanna cum."
you quickly grind against him, feeling desperate as you chase your high. with his words of praise and reassurance, you can feel yourself ready to release. with one quick movement, you feel the tension building up in your stomach release as you cum on rafe. tears prick your eyes as you repeat his name over and over again. "rafe, rafe, rafe."
he stares at you in awe as you finish on him. the sight of your teary eyes and his name falling from your lips in such a needy way pushed him over the edge. he found himself cumming in his pants like he was a high schooler all over again.
you both stayed there, out of breathe, not moving once. you felt like a whole new person even though barely anything has changed.
"you alright?" he asks, pushing hair away from your face.
you tiredly nod, not knowing how to form words. your hooded eyes just take in the view of rafe, his face read and sweaty with a cocky smirk painted across it.
he bites his lip and kisses you gently. "there's more where that came from, you know?" he says and your head reels. "i've been waiting for so long to have you to myself, sweetheart. i don't plan on letting go now."
you giggle into his chest and nod. "don't gotta worry about me leaving, trust me. i've never felt so good in my life." the sweet yet sensual moment you two shared came to a halt when you heard your dad's truck pulling up the gravel road to your house. "shit." you quickly climb off rafe, trying to compose yourself.
your father quickly exited the truck, slamming the door behind him. he seemed to race up to the two of you as you sat there. rafe's hand protectively went over yours as your father approached. "the hell is he doing here?" he fumes.
"d-dad, we're just hanging out." you lie to his face.
"yes sir, that's all we were doing." rafe says camly, looking at him in the eyes.
your father head snaps towards rafe. "was i talking to you, boy? no. stay outta it." his attention focuses back to you. "i told you to not mess with the likings of this boy and what do you do behind my back?" he screams at you. "you go around with this...this hooligan! i want him off my property now. acting like some easy girl, i raised you better."
"b-but, daddy." you pout, trying not to cry as rafe squeezes your hand.
"sir, you're being too hard on her. it's not her fault." rafe tries to calm him down.
your father's finger rests on rafe's chest as he gets close to his face. "oh i know that, rafe. it's you and your typical bullshit. my daughter wouldn't act this way if it wasn't for you. look at you, you're probably using her."
rafe's fists clenched as your father talks down to him, no one does this to him and gets away with it. "sir, i suggest you put that finger down."
"or what?" your father snickers in his face.
rafe's whole demeanor shifts, the sweet boy you were just talking to now gone. like he was never even there. it honestly scared you how fast rafe can change personalities. "you don't even want to know." he grits his teeth. you hate to admit the affect this took on your body, clenching your legs together.
your father drops his finger and turns to you. "inside, now." he says, grabbing your arm. before you can fight him off, he's dragging you away from rafe.
"it's okay, baby, we'll figure this out." he reassures as you are being brought into your house. "fuck!" he screams as soon as the door slams shut.
you watch as rafe makes his way to his truck, slamming the door shut and driving away. you turn to your father who just stares at you as you cry. "screw you!" you say before running upstairs and locking yourself in your room.
you finally had him and now you lost him.
───✱*.。:。✱*.:。✧*.。✰*.:。✧*.。:。*.。✱ ───
the days past since you saw rafe.
your father grounded you and cut you off from the outside world.
you sat by your window and waited, having some false hope that rafe would be your knight in shining armor and take you away from this place. your father pulled up the driveway and seemed to struggle getting out of his truck.
you met him at the door, ready to deal with the bullshit he would throw you today. when you opened your door, your father seemed battered and bruised.
"holy sh-i mean...what happened?" you asked, holding the door open for your dad as he sat on the recliner.
"nothing." he shuttered. "nothing happened."
you stood there and crossed your arms. "clearly something happened."
he shook his head, seeming almost fearful. "nothing happened, now drop it." you stood there as he turned to you. "you aren't grounded anymore. your phone is on my dresser." he seemed almost defeated.
you stared at your dad trying to understand what the hell is going on. are you in the twilight zone? you knew you wouldn't get an answer out of him so you grabbed your things and raced out of the house before he could change his mind. the sun was setting but you didn't care, you had one thing and one thing only on your mind.
you got on your bike and raced towards tannyhill. when you finally got there, you threw your bike down and almost ran to the front door. with two knocks, wheezie opened the door.
"y/n?" she said with a smirk.
"hey, wheezie, is rafe home?" you say, snooping around the insides of the home.
she rolls her eyes and opens the door. "in his room."
you walk up the stairs and stop right before his door. your fist hovering over it before connecting it to the wood. after a few seconds, rafe stands there in the almost dark room.
"y/n." he says, almost as though he was expecting you to be here.
you quickly jump into his arms, holding onto him by his neck. you missed this. the way he smelled, the way he felt, everything about this boy drive you wild. "i missed you."
"i missed you too, honey. come on in." he lets you into his room. this was your first time being in here. sure, you've seen it through snapchat and pictures he sends but that's it. it's the typical boy room but it felt authentic. it felt like rafe.
you sit down on his bed as he walks around, picking up clothes off the floor. "didn't think i'd be having guests." he doesn't seem like his usual self, maybe you caught him at a bad time? but he invited you in, so you stayed.
you laugh at him. "no big deal, the old man let me off the hook tonight. it was weird, he came home all messed up. i tried asking but he kinda pushed me away. it was weird."
rafe stood there, silently. "oh really?"
"yeah, super strange. he's not usually the fighter type. never has been." you watch him stand there. "you all good?"
he nods and turns to you. "i am, now that you're here."
you smile at him as he approaches you. you open your legs so he can stand in between them, looking down at you. he traces your face with his finger, stopping at your lips. "all mine, sweetheart. all mine." he says before bending down to kiss you. the kiss feels rough, almost as though you are a fresh breathe of air that rafe has been waiting for. he pushes you down onto his bed and crawls on top of you.
you break the kiss and look into his eyes, his room is dark so you can only make out certain features. but you bring your hand to his face and hold his cheek, which makes him wince. "oh, i'm sorry, did i hurt you?"
"n-no, it's all good." he tries to kiss you again but you stop him.
"rafe?" you ask him, making him stop once again. "what's wrong? tell me."
"goddamn! nothing is wrong, okay? i can't miss you." he says, running a hand through his hair. you try to study his face but can't even see him. you reach over for his bedside lamp. "no, no, leave it of-" before he can stop you, the light is on. his beautiful face has a large bruise under his right eye and cheek. his lip busted and knuckles bruised.
"rafe?" you question, sitting up.
"y/n, i can explain." he pleads.
then it all makes sense. your father coming home all battered and bruised, rafe's current state, you being let off the hook too easily.
"you don't even want to know."
"it's okay, baby, we'll figure this out."
his words from that night ring through your head. the way his whole demeanor changed that night into a person you've never seen before.
"d-did you?" you ask with teary eyes.
"baby, look at me. i can explain." he begs you but you start to get up.
"explain what? how you beat up my fucking dad!?" you yelled, trying to grasp the millions of thoughts you had. "h-how could you?" you stand by his door, pacing, with your head in your hands.
he walks up to you, grabbing your hand. "look at me, honey, please. look at me." he begs you, trying to grab your attention.
when you finally turn to him, you see the cuts and bruises again. "rafe, why?" you say with a tear slipping down.
"because i love you, honey. you're my girl and i don't give a fuck who it is, they cannot talk to you the way your own father did. calling you easy, acting like your dumb for being around me. nobody should ever talk to you like that, ever." you stop and he cups your face in his hands. "i just wanted to talk to him, okay? all i wanted to do was talk. but then he started again with how i'm a bad person and how you were being stupid for even acknowledging me. he said he didn't need a guy like me corrupting his daughter and i snapped."
you gazed into his eyes, they looked as though they were pleading with you to see why he did what he did.
"please, say something. please." he states.
you sigh and close your eyes. "rafe, i don't need you going around defending my honor, especially to my dad. it's not worth it."
"not worth it? sweetheart, look at me." you open your eyes. "you are worth everything to me, you hear me? everything. i would kill for you if you asked me to. i never had someone care for me the way you do, have someone listen to me, or even treat me normally. you mean the world to me, y/n. i love you."
and there it was.
rafe cameron, for once in his life, showed affection.
he told someone they love them.
"i'm sorry it was your dad, okay? sometimes, i black out and can't remember things when i'm angry. i act on my impulses. but with you, i never feel that way." he shakes his head, trying to contain all his emotions. your eyes water again, causing him to wipe the tears. "what's wrong, baby? talk to me."
you smile through the tears. "i just, i love you too." no one has ever made you feel so safe and loved in one moment than rafe has this past month. he's all you could ever ask for.
he beams down at you, shaking his head. "you mean that?"
"with every ounce of my body, i love you." you admit.
his heart swelled as he connected your lips once more to his. you were all his, all he ever needed in life to feel whole.
rafe pushes you against the door, a light moan slipping from your lips as he presses himself against you.
"you like that?" he asks, a satisfied smirk on his face as he kisses your cheek and goes down your neck.
you nod under his touch, like you're cast in his spell. "y-yes."
"you want more?" he asks, sucking on one spot of your neck for a long time. all you can do is nod, already becoming a mess because of him. he pulls away, having you almost whimper from the lack of contact. "not uh, baby, gotta hear some words out of that beautiful mouth of yours. i'll repeat myself, do you want more."
"y-yes, rafe, yes please."
he groans at your begging and nods. "good girl." he pulls you over to the bed and guides you toward it. you feel the bed hit the back of your knees and you sit down, looking up at him. he quickly takes his shirt off and tosses it to the side.
he kisses your lips lightly as his hands find the end of your shirt, lightly toying with the fabric. "y-you can take it off." with the reassurance, he slips the top off and leaves it next to you. his eyes take in your body, your breasts pooling out of a flimsy green bralette. he sucks his tongue and gently runs his fingers over your tits.
"so pretty and they're all for me." he slowly reaches behind your back and unclasps the bralette with one hand, letting it fall down your body. you could swear rafe has tiny hearts in his eyes as they bore onto your half-naked body. "lay down." you follow his orders and lay against his pillows. his bedroom light shines over his features and the cuts from the fight. you bring your hand up to touch them and he gives into your touch. "you okay?"
"more than okay." you tell him.
he kisses your hand then his lips meet with yours once again. he then lets his lips trail across your cheek, jaw, neck, and down to your chest. he stares at your tits before peppering them both with kisses. he then takes one nipple in his mouth, slowly, and grabs your other one with your free hand to give a squeeze. your body instantaneously reacts to rafe's touch, moaning at the sensation of his lips. "you like that, huh?" he almost teases, switching to the other nipple.
"m-more." you whisper out, clenching your eyes.
"what was that, honey? need you to speak up for me." he grins.
"please, i want more, rafe. touch me more." you raise your voice.
"you got it." his hand leaves your tit and trails slowly down your body, resting at the hem of your jeans. he unbuttons them and lets his hands slide down your underwear, his hands automatically getting soaked. "shit, baby, all this for me?" he runs ins finger down your cunt and gathering your slick, bringing it to his mouth. he sucks it off his fingers as you watch in awe. "you're just too sweet for me, you know that?"
he doesn't even give you time to think before he puts his fingers back inside you, swirling your cunt. your hands grab his shoulders, holding onto them for dear life. "it's okay, i got ya, i always got ya." he reassures as he slowly slips one finger into your tight hole. "jesus, honey, with a hole this tight i don't know how long i'll last." he says as he slips his finger in and out of you, his thumb still toying with your clit.
your head falls back as more moans fall from your lips. "more, rafe, please give me more."
he laughs slightly. "cocky little thing, aren't ya? if you insist." he adds one more finger, your hole clenching around him as his finger slip in and out. "look how pretty you look with my fingers inside of you." he says before kissing your mouth, collecting your moans. you're so wet you hear the noises your pussy is making around him. you feel overstimulated as rafe keeps going, not stopping once. tears prick your eyes as you feel your high approaching. his thumb rubs harder as your nails connect to rafe's chest, dragging them down. "my pretty baby, i just love you so much." he says, staring at you.
with those words, you feel yourself being pushed to pleasure. you cum all over rafe's fingers, crying out his name. "rafe!"
he lets you ride out your high before taking his fingers out and putting them in his mouth like he did before. "never gonna get tired of that."
he gets up and heads to the bathroom. you want to talk to him, ask him where he's going, but you're too tired. you've never felt this good, not even from your own fingers. rafe comes back with a towel in his hand, gently, he pulls off your shorts and panties, cleaning off your pussy. the water is nice and warm as he gets you situated. he drops the rag and crawls into his bed next to you, holding you tightly.
"you know, if you want me to go dow-" but before you can finish that sentence he kisses your forehead.
"no need to rush there, honey. i wanna take my time with you, wanna show you how good i can make you feel." your heart melts in your chest as he rubs your back lightly. "get some rest, alright?"
you fall asleep fast in his arms, he holds you there the entire night and doesn't plan on letting go.

୨ৎ — take a bite (nrk)
pairing. bff! nishimura riki x fem! reader synopsis. during your hangout riki tries to confess to you genre. fluff wc. 1735 notes. ft. eunchae, jongseob, & jake library.
the weather app had displayed that today would be sunny at a moderate temperature. the perfect weather to spend the day out of the house. you had planned to take advantage of the warmer day by walking around all day going shop to shop. texting riki first about your plan.
he offered to come along, though neither of you planned for it to be just you two.
you had both mentioned in the group chat the idea of walking around and window shopping but everyone else was not so coincidentally busy on this saturday afternoon.
but you knew better than to think eunchae would be busy today, she was the one who told you she wanted to go out this weekend. also the fact she said she was out with her parents when her location had been at home.
she was setting you up to go out with riki. eunchae had texted jongseob separately to answer the group chat saying he was busy as well. he was also a shit liar as he said he was at work when he was also home. you all shared locations but you didn’t even bother anymore.
which led to riki meeting you at the nearest bus stop to your house. you argued with him that you could go to a bus stop that was the same distance from both of your places so he wouldn’t have to walk as far, but he hung up. already starting to walk before you could make your final retort.
the reason why eunchae wanted you guys to hang out alone so desperately because you and riki had recently concluded that you both had mutual feelings. neither of you making a move yet.
“you’re both cowards!” eunchae yelled at you through her phone while you finished putting your makeup on.
“i’ll talk to him eventually, we don’t even know if he likes me back” you rolled your eyes.
“jongseob clearly told me that riki had told him he liked you!” eunchae aruged.
you looked through your drawer, picking out a lip tint for the day. you settled on the pink one you had bought with riki a couple of months ago, he’d picked it out for you himself. it was ironic how he chose a pink since he hated the color so much.
“i have to go now, riki’s already started walking.” picking up your phone and returning to the facetime app.
“when you get there you should give him a big smooch!” eunchae joked, making mocking kissy faces at her camera.
“shut up,” you sighed. “bye eunchae!” you waved.
“bye ____!!”
grabbing your bag from hanging on your door, shoving your phone and lip tint into it, and slinging it over your shoulder.
leaving your bedroom after to put your shoes on. quickly lacing up your shoelaces, grabbing your keys, exiting, and locking the door behind you.
you called riki on your phone while you walked like you always did.
he answered at the first ring, informing you he was close to the bus stop already, joking that you were too slow and wouldn’t get there before you. picking up the pace and speed walking to the bus stop.
seeing riki in the distance you hung up, running up to him. once you reached riki, you sat next to him on the bench.
“hi ki!” you kicked one of his feet, him kicking back immediately.
“hey no kicking,” he shifted his body so his legs were no longer in your reach.
the bus arrived seven minutes later, and nobody else was there at the bus stop but you two. he put an his hand lightly on the small of your back to make you got on before him. you picked a spot near the back of the bus and tugged riki by the sleeve behind you.
even though you loved the window seat you tried to offer riki the window seat since he also liked sitting there. but he refused, playfully pushing you to sit down. as the bus started on its route he offered you one side of his headphones, which you accepted.
the ride to the area you guys wanted to stick around for the day was roughly twenty minutes away. the movements of the vehicle paired with the music playing in your ear lulled you to sleep, riki guided your head to rest on his shoulder.
you jolted in your seat when the bus came to a sudden stop. riki extended his arm in front of you so you wouldn’t fly out of your seat.
“how many more minutes?” you yawned.
“i’ll just wake you up ____,” he retracted his arm and hooked yours with his. you nodded and fell back onto his shoulder.
the first thing you wanted to do that day was stop by the bookstore and see if they had new txt album in stock. you really wanted to get a beomgyu photocard. riki had protested against this, saying you didn’t need another one. even picking up the closest girl group album and trying to get you to buy it instead.
he failed to convince you and now you both sat at a random bench outside to unbox it.
“okay you check first,” you handed riki the stack of inclusions, then faced away from him.
“i hope you don’t get beomgyu,” riki huffed, flipping the card around. “oh.”
you turned around excitedly, waiting for riki to show who you pulled to you. he looked at you then back at the photocard and furrowed his eyebrows. you couldn’t take the suspense so you took the card from his hands to see for yourself.
“oh my god i did get beomgyu!” you squealed, you brought the card up to your face to admire it.
“ew.” riki rolled his eyes, putting back the other inclusions into the album and your bag.
“are you jealous ki,” you giggled, sleeving the beomgyu photocard and putting it in your phone case. he turned to face the other side of the bench when you grabbed his arm and pulled him along to the ice cream shop.
riki got a small cup of cookie dough ice cream while you got mint chocolate ice cream. riki had side-eyed you when you told the person behind the counter the flavor you wanted due to his one sided beef with the flavor.
he paid for the both of you before you could, to which you returned the side eye from earlier.
opting to eat your ice cream while you walked around to see more stores you had spotted a photobooth through the mall window. you told riki to finish eating his ice cream faster so you could take pictures.
finishing your ice creams you threw the empty cups in the garbage next to the mall entrance and brought riki along to the photobooth.
riki started to feel nervous about being in such a confined space with you. he saw the photostrip of the previous users fall out of the printer and in one of the pictures they were kissing. that gave him the idea of kissing you during the photos as a way of confessing to you.
he knew very well from jongseob and eunchae that you had reciprocated the same feelings as him but he had no idea how to go about addressing the elephant in the room.
riki let you get into the booth first, you scooted over as far as you could so riki could sit next to you. though his long legs still poked out from under the curtain as he sat at an angle.
you fed a five dollar bill into the machine and waited for the photobooth to get started. you and him quickly picking a random border for the photos and then the camera finally started. as you started to pose riki mirrored every single one of your movements.
first it was a peace sign, then half of a heart so the both of you could connect yours to make one full heart, and lastly a regular one of you just leaning your head on his shoulder.
riki knew that there were only four shots so when the last countdown started on the screen he boldly reached out to cup your face into his hands. your eyes widened, nervous for his next move, but all of the confidence left his body once he felt your breath on his lips. as he remained frozen you decided to take matters into your own hands.
no you didn’t kiss him. you bit him. and you still do not know what possessed you to do so.
“ow ____!” riki clutched his right cheek where you had nipped. “what the fuck was that for?”
“um sorry,” you cleared your throat, pulling back to create more space between you two in the cramped booth. “i don’t you didn’t do anything so i got nervous.”
both of you exited the booth to collect your photos from the side, not speaking to each other until the two photostrips fell out.
“oh look the camera took the photo right when i bit you!” you picked up the photo and laughed as riki took the other and examined it.
“i still don’t understand why you had to bite me…” riki frowned, holding his cheek as if you had bitten him real hard when in reality it was a quick bite. “you’re a vampire!”
“well i’m not the one who lost all confidence right as you pulled me in!” you defended yourself, taking a photo of the photo strip to send to the group chat.
eunchae had a good laugh about the photobooth incident when you called her on the walk home. she couldn’t stop laughing until there were tears in her eyes.
“it’s not that funny you know,” you sighed, reaching for your keys out of your bag. “it was more embarrassing than ever.”
“i still can’t believe you bit riki right when he was about to kiss you!” eunchae erupted into giggles again.
as soon as riki entered his room when he got home from your hangout he texted jake for advice. to which the older boy had called him laughing just like eunchae did to you before giving him a peptalk.
it was safe to say the next time riki would try and confess to you he would keep some distance from you to prevent being bitten again.

author's note: i dunno if this is good cuz i have to delete a lot of scenes to make everything fit djsjjj. AND pls listen to two weeks notice by leanna firestone. 🐝 anon shared it to me and AAAAAAAHHH it captures the main vibe of the fic
masterlist.
"New shoes?”
The shoes come in black and it features a sleek silhouette with a pointed toe and a golden heel that is shaped as the letters Y, S, and L. Max is no expert in shoes but he knows how to recognize a luxury shoe if he sees one.
“Pretty lil things, aren't they?” you bring your foot forward to flaunt it.
Max doesn't know if it’s the heels that makes your feet look pretty or if the heels look pretty because you have pretty feet. Contrary to popular belief, Max does not have a feet kink. He just knows how to appreciate the aesthetics of a body part.
Three years of savin’ and I finally got ‘em.”
“Good for you?” Is that an appropriate thing to say to a woman who just bought nice-looking shoes?
Max sees Daniel hug you after the Azerbaijan GP. You have twinning smiles on your face. Max's curiosity grows. You pull away from the hug and wave goodbye, returning to the garage, to where Max is standing and waiting for you.
“What did you and Daniel talk about?” he asks and if he sounds like he’s demanding, he doesn't mean it.
You stop walking, finally noticing Max's presence. The smile on your face fades a little but it doesn't completely disappear. “Oh, hi? Congrats on the podium today, big guy.”
“What were you and Daniel talking about?” Max asks again.
“‘s not important.”
“I want to know.”
You give Max an odd look, probably questioning why he wants to know so badly. He doesn't know why either. He just wants to know.
“Renault has an open spot in their engineering team,” you finally say, smile growing wide. You’re literally vibrating in excitement as you say it.
Max feels like someone just poured a bucket of iced water over his body.
“Engineer? Why would you even apply in Renault’s engineering team?” he sees your face shift and he wonders if his question is offensive. It does not seem like it is. For Max anyway.
“I’m an engineer, Max,” you're gritting your teeth, Max notices.
Oh, Max realizes. This was why Christian mentioned moving her to the engineering team. He thought you’re going to be their manager or something. Do engineers get managers, too? Max doesn't know.
Max’s world shifts off its axis when he realizes the bigger meaning carried by your words. You want to leave.
“No.”
You make a weird face, “No?”
“No, stay.”
He is perfectly aware that he is in no position to ask this of you. If you want to be an engineer and chase your dreams, you can. No one has the right to stop you. That's your dream. That's your life.
But do you really need to leave?
Suddenly, this becomes like the Daniel situation all over again.
Max isn't sure the exact time you begin holding this much importance over his life that he’s suddenly afraid of your absence. Max still won't consider the two of you friends per se, but he does not want you in Renault. He wants you here, behind him, following him at all times. You don't have to follow Daniel to fucking Renault.
Renault just keeps taking everything from him. First, it’s Daniel, his best friend and teammate. Max will not allow himself to lose you over to Renault and their sucky cars.
“Funny how you think you got a say in this,” you do the thing where you shift your feet lightly so you’re facing Max fully, one hand on your waist while the other rests limp on your side, your head slightly tilts to the right. There's a bulge on your cheek, where your tongue is pressing inside it, and one of your brows is cocked.
“You don't have to go to Renault. You can stay here,” he adds and it almost sounds like he’s pleading.
“And what Max? Let all the money I spent in engineering school go to waste?”
“Do you not want to be my manager anymore?”
“No offense, buddy, but I’ll choose being an engineer.”
Fair point but Max is still hurt anyway. Why are people always leaving him? Is it that hard to choose him and love him? Is he not a good enough reason to stay? Maybe it's because he's not a world champion yet. Maybe it's because he's not someone praiseworthy yet.
“I will win next year. When I become a world champion, I’ll ask Horner to move you to the engineering team.”
Max hopes you believe him.
The 2019 season ends with Lewis Hamilton at the top. Valtteri Bottas is close behind him. After Bottas stands Max Verstappen.
He’ll understand if you're making your application letter to Renault at this very moment. And yet, you come knocking on his hotel door.
“You’re trashin’ the room again,” you say, not ask but say, when Max opens the door and this is like 2018 again when he trashed his entire hotel room for coming in fourth. You even wear the same clothes as last year—a Red Bull polo shirt and a black pencil skirt with the same cream tote bag with peach prints but the shoes are different. “Sour loser much?”
“Fuck you.”
“Fuck you, too,” you reply in a nonchalant tone, not even taking offense that Max has cursed you out. “Lemme see your hands. I have a cold canned beer.”
“I didn't punch the wall.”
Not yet at least. He’s definitely planning to, before you have decided to knock on his door.
“Well then,” you thrust the beer towards him. “Good thing’s beer has multiple purposes. Bruised knuckles? Beer. Bruised ego? Beer.”
Angrily, Max takes the beer in your hands. He really can't deal with you right now.
“Don't worry, man. You’ll be world champion one day. You have the makings of one,” you assure him and your words are too unexpected that Max stiffens. “Not this year but one day.”
“Why can't it be this year?” he asks after a few seconds' pause.
You shrug your shoulders, “Not your time yet, I suppose.”
Then, you turn around and walk away, the loud clicks of your black and gold heels echoing in the hotel hallway until it fades into silence, while Max stands there at the open door, a cold canned beer in his hand.
He’s trying (emphasis on the word trying) to prepare himself snacks so he can eat while sim-racing. It's the off-season right now and his mother and his sister have decided to visit his place in Monaco and stay for a few days before they fly together to Belgium and spend the holidays there. Daniel’s name appears on the notification bar of Max’s phone.
daniel: is [name] in monaco rn or did she go home for the off season
max: why would she be in monaco right now
daniel: she lives there
max: [name] lives in monaco?
daniel: you didn't know??
daniel: she’s been living there since last year
daniel: ever wondered why she comes by our building a lot?
max: how am i supposed to know
daniel: she's your manager
max: well we don't exactly talk about where we live
daniel: i cant believe you
daniel: shes been living there since she was my manager
max: that long???
daniel: i cant with you sometimes
daniel: neways do u have her number?
daniel: i think she got it changed a month ago and i forgot to ask her
daniel: she's not answering my messages in ig
max: yeah yeah i do
daniel: great
daniel: can u call her and ask if she’s in the country?
max: ok
daniel: cool cool
daniel: appreciate it,, man
You answer the phone on the second ring.
“Need anythin’, man?”
When will he hear you call him Max rather than man, dude, bro, big guy, big boy, darlin’ (teasingly), or loser?
“Hi [Name]. I’m calling because, uh, Daniel messaged me,” he begins. “He said you’re not replying to his messages on Instagram.”
“Oh, my bad, my bad. I’ll check it out later, still out playin’ ball right now.”
“He’s asking if you're in Monaco right now.”
“Yeah, yeah, I am. Flight’s still next week. Why’s he askin’?”
“Okay,” he doesn't know what else is there to say. “I didn't even know you live in Monaco.”
“Well, I do,” he hears someone yelling your name. “Aight, anythin’ else you wanna know?”
“Nothing. Nothing else.”
“Okay. Stay safe out there, my guy.”
“You, too.”
The call ends and suddenly, the world feels too silent.
max: yeah she's here
max: she said her flight is scheduled next week
daniel: perfect
daniel: i have her christmas gift with me rn she better be there when i land
daniel: i have to wrap this up on the plane
daniel: do you know how hard it is to gift wrap smth during a flight
Max’s brows furrow. Perhaps he has underestimated the depth of their friendship. They're close enough that they give each other gifts. Or at least, she’s close with Daniel enough that he buys her gifts.
max: safe travels daniel
Daniel arrives a day later, which coincidentally is the same day Sophie, Max’s mother, and Victoria, his sister, landed in Monaco as well. Max’s mother adores Daniel, which is not surprising because everyone adores Daniel.
“Join us for lunch, Daniel,” Sophie invites him. Max and Victoria stand behind her. The three of them are heading out for lunch when they come across Daniel, who is also heading out, at the lobby of the apartment building.
“Sorry, Sophie, but I have an appointment today with [Name],” Daniel scratches his nape and smiles apologetically. Sophie perks up at the mention of [Name].
“Max’s manager?”
“Yes, Max’s manager,” Daniel nods enthusiastically.
“Invite her, too! I’ve always wanted to meet her. She sounds like an amazing girl from what Max has told me.”
Max groans, “Mom, please.”
He may or may not have talked about [Name] during his calls with his mother. Mostly, it's complaints. His mother has laughed at him, used to hee son's constant complaining. Despite that, she still thinks [Name] is good for her son. It's good that someone is able to rein you in when needed, she said.
“Oh, I’m sure she’ll love it. How about I call her and we’ll meet you at the restaurant in a few?” Daniel says.
Everything is settled. Max has reserved a private room for the whole lunch meeting so he can enjoy the privacy of lunch with his family. Less than an hour later, you arrive with Daniel.
Max almost drops the fork when he sees you walking towards them, just a few steps behind the grinning Daniel.
You look different than usual. Max is yet to decide if it's a good type of different or not, because when his eyes land on you, he feels like a thousand elephants have begun a violent rampage in his chest.
You’re not wearing the usual Red Bull polo shirt—perhaps that's why Max feels odd because he’s so used to seeing you wearing it—and instead, you were in a bustier jumpsuit with a white long-sleeved button-up shirt under it.
It looks a little too tight in Max’s opinion, hugging your body in a way that Max thinks you cannot breathe. He can't even breathe when he looks at you right now.
Daniel and you stop in front of the table and Max’s mother stands to kiss you both on the cheek. Max then notices that you’re carrying two bouquets in your hand. Funny how they're so huge and colorful but for some reason, he hasn't noticed them since you walked into the room.
“For you, Ma’am,” you smile as you hand the bouquet to Max’s mother, who gasps in delight. “Welcome to Monaco.”
Then, you turn to Victoria and hand her the other bouquet, “For you, too, Miss Victoria. Welcome to Monaco.”
“Please, have a seat, you two. We’ve already ordered for you," Max's mother says. You and Daniel sit down.
You and Daniel quickly engage in conversation with Max’s mother. Victoria elbows Max, leaning over his ear to whisper, “You have a good manager, Max.”
“You just like her because she got you flowers," Max whispers back.
Victoria chuckles and the Verstappen siblings join in the conversation.
Lunch is a pleasant event. Everyone loves the food. Everyone laughs. Everyone is having a good time. However, good things always come to an end. Daniel has to leave early because he has an appointment. Max is supposed to drive Victoria and his mother to the department store because they planned on shopping together as a family and buy gifts for their relatives in Belgium. But since Daniel left and he was your ride going to the restaurant, that means you have no ride going home.
You insist that you can hail a cab or even walk to your apartment since it’s “just three streets away” but Max notices that your smile looks too forced and Max calls bullshit. Max may not know where you live but he knows you're lying. Thankfully, his mother seems to share the same sentiments and push you towards Max.
“Don't worry, honey. He’s a good driver. You're in safe hands.”
“I’m really fine, Ma’am,” you try again.
“Call me Sophie,” she says, her hand comes up to your shoulder and you flinch a little. “You take good care of Max. It's the least he can do for you. Also, I’m a woman, honey. I know the pain of walking a good distance in heels. Don't subject yourself to that pain.”
You don't protest any further and the four of you hop into Max’s car. Max drives Sophie and Victoria to a department store and drops them off. He kisses his mother’s cheek as they bid a temporary goodbye. Afterwards, he instructs you to type down your address on the GPS so he can drive you to where you live.
When he reads the address you input, he snorts. You whip your head around to give him a dirty look.
“Three streets down,” he says, amused. “Really?”
“Shut up, ‘s just on the other side of the city.”
“It's still far.”
The first few minutes of the drive is silent. You sit on the passenger seat with your earbuds in and legs crossed, leaning most of your weight against the car door so your back posture sort of resembles a person with mild scoliosis. Max hears you hum along the song you’re listening to, your fingers tapping along the rhythm.
Max taps your shoulder. You turn to him, pulling off one of your earbuds.
“Somethin’ wrong?” you ask.
Why do you always assume something's wrong when he calls your attention? Does he really only talk to you when he has a problem?
Max gestures to the AUX, “You can connect your phone to my car.”
You gasp dramatically, a hand pressing on your chest, “You’re givin’ me AUX privilege? Truly honored.”
Max rolls his eyes.
“But I don't think you’ll like what I listen to,” you add.
“Try me.”
El Alfa songs have electrifying and infectious rhythms and Max may not understand the lyrics but not understanding the song lyrics can't stop a person from enjoying a song. El Alfa songs are the type of songs that you’ll hear in parties and in the streets.
“By the way,” Max begins. The song changes into something else—Sofia, the title reads, sung by Alvaro Soler. It's a whole different vibe from the previous song. “Thank you for giving my mum and sister flowers today. That was very thoughtful of you.”
“Just trynna be nice,” you say nonchalantly. “Glad they liked it.”
“Also, you look nice today.”
You slowly turn to him. You have this weird expression on your face like you have an aneurysm but also indigestion and mild stroke.
“Did you eat somethin’ weird at the restaurant?”
“No, I didn't.”
“Then why are you playin’ nice?”
Max rolls his eyes, “I can punch you if you want.”
“Yeah, right, as if you can. Your mother raised you too well to throw hands to the ladies.”
Max closes his mouth.
“See? I’m right,” you continue. “You’ll fight any man on the grid but you won't fight me even though I annoy you every day. You're not like your father, Max.”
Max clears his throat awkwardly. He does not know how to respond to you. You're too… too… honest.
“But thank you,” you say. “Borrowed this from my roomie ‘cuz I don't own any nice clothes.”
You wear branded clothing way too well for someone to think otherwise.
The song switches. Danza Kuduro starts playing. Max knows this one. He watched Fast Five.
Max stops the car outside the apartment building, but instead of hopping off, you rummage through your tote bag—still the cream-colored one with peach prints, it looks so worn down now—and pull out a….it looks like a beaded bracelet but it's not closed on the ends.
“What's this?” he asks when you hand it to him. Red and navy blue beads—the color of Red Bull.
“Consider this as my gift for the holidays. I made Daniel one so it makes sense that I give you one as well.”
Oh. Max blinks at you then glances down at the little thing in his palm. Something warm blooms in Max’s heart.
“That's very thoughtful of you.”
Panic follows. His head snaps up.
“But I haven't bought you anything.”
“That's okay, man,” you smile and open the door. “Thanks a lot for today.”
You step outside and close the door after you before Max can even utter another word. Max watches as you jog inside the building. He shakes his head when you disappear from his vision, hangs the beaded keychain with his keys, and drives back to where he drops his mother and sister off earlier.
Sophie notices the keychain and compliments it. She asks his son if he got into the hobby of creating things out of beads. Max shakes his head and tells her that the keychain is a gift from you.
His mother visibly lights up, “You should get her a gift!”
Max gets into thinking. Yeah, he should.
He meets you a day before your flight to Texas in the lobby of the building where you live. You gave him a keychain. It's only appropriate that he gives you keys. (You don't seem very happy with the gift though for God knows what reason but Max is adamant on giving it to you and will not stop at a no.
“I want you close,” he says, surprised by the sincerity that exited his mouth.
“Well, I don't.” Your words sting a little. Max ignores it.
He ends up giving you a different key. You say the other key is too expensive. Max is not thrilled but it's still a key and this certain key, you accept. So Max is happy.)
Max flies to Belgium a few days after you and celebrates the holidays with his mother's side of the family. He calls your cell in the middle of the night, Belgium is six hours ahead of Texas so Max is sure it's around four in the afternoon from where you are. He does not expect you to answer as quickly as you did.
“Somethin’ wrong?” your voice sounds rough like you’ve been asleep.
“Hi, uhm,” Max clears his throat. He’s a little tipsy right now and his words are flying around in his brain. “Happy holidays.”
There's a pause.
“You called me for that?”
“Can you stop being mean? It's the holidays.”
“Are you drunk?”
“Kinda?”
“Well then,” Max hears a ruffle of sheets and suddenly, he feels bad for waking you up. “Happy holidays to you, too, bud. Appreciate the effort and the money you spent on making this call. International calls are expensive as fuck.”
They're not. At least, Max thinks they're not.
“Can I get your Instagram? The one you use to talk to Daniel?”
“My priv? Why?”
“Because I just want it.”
“Brat. You can’t follow that account usin’ your public account. PR has access to your account and they’ll see my shit. I don't want them to see my shit.”
“Then, I’ll make a private account and we’ll follow each other.”
He hears you sigh.
“You promise not to give PR access to that account?”
“Hm. I promise.”
“Yeah, okay, whatever. Send me the details and I’ll follow you when I wake up, aight?”
Max giggles, “Okay.”
“Anythin’ else?”
“Nothing, nothing.”
“Aight, I’ll continue my nap. You enjoy yourself there.”
“Okay.”
Then, COVID happens.

Dean was lounging on his couch watching tv in his sweats when his phone went off. Glancing over, he saw your picture and smiled. He reached over and grabbed it, muting the tv, not caring what was happening.
Clenching his jaw, he got up, jogging up the stairs to his room to grab his wallet. He’d order some pizza to be delivered for dinner, knowing that would help cheer you up a bit. As he grabbed it off his nightstand, he smiled at the picture of the two of you at senior prom the year before. You did school online, not wanting to leave Dean. He didn’t want to go to college, so he went right to work.
Hearing your car pull up, he got up and moved to the door to meet you. “Plan on staying over?” He grinned, motioning to your bag.
You blushed. “Unless you have plans, of course.” Kissing him softly, you made your way in the house that had become so familiar to you.
Dean took the bag from you before his fingers laced with yours. “Come on, let’s go relax, babe.” He gave your hand a small squeeze as he led you up the stairs to his room. He didn’t care that he still lived at home. He paid rent, his car insurance, and bought his own food. The rest went towards other things he may need, in a savings, or to go out with you. People who made comments about him living at home didn’t see his savings account, or see the logic of living at home for a year or two after high school.
Silently, you followed, looking forward to him holding you close. He’d always made you feel safe, and comforted. You watched as he put your back on the top of his dresser and flopped on his queen sized bed. Toeing off your shoes, you crawled up next to him and put laid down, your head on his chest.
The pair of you relaxed in silence for a bit before he said anything. “What did that asshole do?” He asked, his fingertips running up and down your arm.
You closed your eyes and side, leaving your arm over his stomach. “Making stupid comments about us again.” Dylan had been your friend since he’d moved there the end of eighth grade, and you began dating Dean the start of 10th. Your friend had not been happy, and would made comments now and then. You’d even stopped speaking to him a couple times you’d been so upset. Then, he would apologize, and the two of you would work back towards being friends.
Dean groaned. “What was it this time?”
“Bad enough that I don’t think he can make it up to me this time.” You said quietly, trying not to tear up.
He didn’t like that, making him shift to his side, so he could see your face. Cupping your cheek, he kissed your forehead. “Please, tell me.” He had hated Dylan when he’d first met him, but wasn’t a dick. He wouldn’t tell you who to hang out with.
Burying your face in his chest, you held him tight. Dean rubbed your back when his chest felt damp. He’d let you tell when you wanted to, but he really did want to know. Without speaking, you pulled out your phone and handed it to him. Dean kept you in his arms, pulling up your texts with Dylan.
Dean could tell in your messages how you were getting more and more upset. Hell, he wanted to beat the guy more than usual. Sighing, he glanced down at you. “Babe?”
“Yeah?” When you looked up at him, he tucked a strand of hair between your ear.
“Is it alright if I text him?” Dean would have just done it, but the two of you had always been open with each other, and him wanting to text Dylan was something that concerned you.
You nodded. “I never want to talk to him again. I’m tired of it, Dean.” You told him.
Hitting send, he leaned over, putting it on his nightstand. “Problem solved.” He chuckled.
“Oh, boy. I can only imagine what you said.” You teased him.
Dean licked his lips, debating. “Fuck, wait here.” He kissed you, smiling, before crawling over you, falling off the side. You laughed, rolling to your back, propping yourself up on your elbows. You had no idea what this was about, but were curious. He came back in not long after and straddled you, a light blush over his cheeks, which was rare. “So, not what I had planned, but dickwad kinda forced my hand. He’ll likely blurt shit out to someone, word will get around, I’ll get piss–”
You reached up, covering his lips with your finger. “Dean, you’re rambling.” You pointed out.
As you moved your finger, he nodded. “Sorry. Anyways.” He took a deep breath. “Marry me?” He asked, holding out the ring between two fingers.
That wasn’t something you had expected for Dean to ask for a long time- if ever. He’d never even mentioned wanting a family. “Yes!” You grinned, loving the way his face lit up as he put the ring on your finger. Pulling him down to you, you kissed him lovingly.
“There was one more thing.” He said between kisses. “My savings? Is for an apartment. For us.”
Wrapping your arms around his neck, you closed your eyes. “Oh, Dean.” He started that savings account in 11th grade. You assumed for parts for his car. Seems you were way off. “How long have you been planning this? You’ve had that savings account a while.”
He chuckled. “Uh, I told my dad I wanted mom’s ring the first night I kissed you.” He bit his lip. “He didn’t give it to me until we graduated, though.”
“I love you, Dean.” You pecked his lips. Hearing your phone, you ignored it. “He can go to hell. I choose you, and I always will.” You ran your fingers through his hair.

There he was.
It was one of those times where everything was in slow motion, your focus only on him and his eyes staying on you, just you. Nobody else knew, in this crowded room, it felt like you and him were a secret that you were dying to keep.
Coming to a party your friend held with Lee Heeseung was probably a normal thing for others, but to you, it had you terrified. He was your best friend, or maybe that was what it’s like to others, because to you, he was more than just that.
The secret moments you shared in the crowded room, behind your friends’ backs, they’ve got no idea about you and him. Stealing glances and touches that meant more than what it seemed, you didn’t know how you were going to last for the rest of the night. All the silence and patience, pining in anticipation and desperately waiting, your hands were shaking.
“Y/N,” he was standing close to you now, and the moment he said your name, everything stopped.
“Yeah?”
Heeseung glanced around, a playful smile making its way to his face. “Wanna leave this party?”
You couldn’t help breaking into a foolish smile either, nodding along, knowing he would soon crack this question, and you were right. “Can you come back to mine?”
“I’d love to.”
Walking out with his hand in yours, your other arm holding onto his forearm and latching yourself close was a risky thing to do. What would your friends think? Fuck it. This was inescapable, you were not even going to try, so if you got burnt trying, at least you knew it was electrifying. That was how he made you feel: electrifying.
The way back to your place was familiar, too familiar for him. He wasn’t even going to question the extra keys he had on him, the natural instinct of placing his shoes next to yours at the door and the feeling of your bedsheets on his skin.
“Don’t sleep in my bed with your dirty clothes on,” you groaned, pushing his body away to join him.
“You’re in your dirty clothes,”
“Well, it’s my bed,”
“I’m here often enough for it to be mine too,” he argued, but not realising the weight of his words.
“Yeah, yeah,” you waved it off, the effect of what he said making the butterflies in your stomach flutter wildly. “I have your clothes stacked at the side in my closet, just grab some and change into them,”
“Great, you’re a lifesaver,” he hoisted himself up by his elbow, leaning over to place a kiss on your lips, the action itself was a second instinct for him, the feeling of your lips on his were just as tantalising as it always was.
Something in Heeseung churned, the exact same way it did for you. He leaned in closer, kissing you deeper, and you let him, feeling his hand travelling up the side of your face, the other on your right thigh, the fabric of your dress riding up.
“Y/N,”
Say my name and everything just stops.
“I don’t want you like a best friend,” Heeseung confessed, almost breathlessly as if you’ve literally taken his breath away.
“Me neither,” you played with his hair softly, heart bursting at his confession, one that you’ve been waiting, pining and anticipating for a long time. “Only bought this dress so you could take it off,”
“What—fuck,” he cursed, eyes travelling south to look at the black dress hugging your body, taking in the sight before him. “You’re insane. I’m taking you out on a date after tonight,”
“I’m not complaining.”
Heeseung laughed, kissing you again, then again. He was obsessed, love stricken and crazily into you. As you and him stared at each other, basking in the presence of one another, the surreal feeling after the confession, you had a flashback from the time you met him.
His buzz cut, your hair bleached, it was one of your worst times after a break up, but he still saw the best in you. Even your mistakes and crazy rebounds, he was there, he was always there. In your worst lies, he saw the truth in you, and there was no one else that knew you the way he did.
He held your face gently, kissing you once more, except it was filled with hunger and desperation, contrasting to his soft hold. The bottom of your dress bunched in one of his hands, he was eager to take it off, as per your request.
His name was carved into your bedpost, being the only man to ever claim his spot in your bed. Waking up just in time which led up to meeting him, you were now able to wake up by his side. Everything was fated to happen.
There were marks on you in the shape of him, one that you had to cover up in the morning with your concealer, even when Heeseung kissed them gently while greeting you. No matter how much you chastised him, you knew he was never going to stop causing obvious spots to appear on your neck.
As he prepared breakfast, you freshened yourself up, getting ready to meet your friends with him later that day, hoping they didn’t get suspicious of you and Heeseung’s simultaneous disappearance. Their texts from last night were definitely telling you they had some thoughts about it, but you decided to ignore them first. Worry about that later.
The dress you wore last night was on the floor of your bedroom along with Heeseung’s garments. The smell of his cologne filled the air and your bed was moulded to him by now.
Maybe, this was something you could get used to.

you entered the room quietly and watch the last steps of the choreography that they were putting up for the next comeback. you knew mark was really worried and anxious about the new song coming out, and you wanted to support him and show him you were there for him since he wasn't acting like him lately.
the grip on the bag took hold when jeno spot you first and then alerted mark of your arrival. he then came closer, his eyes glued on the bag in your hands.“i bring...” you start to say before he interrupts you “you didn't have to” his voice cutting you off. “i still wanted to” you finished, your eyes catching a drop of sweat running down his temple. your fingers going instinctively to wash it out. you stopped then and brush his hair, tenderly. his face suddenly pulling out of your reach. a small sigh leaving his lips, the same lips you haven't kissed in weeks. “i'll take this” he said, “i'm working til midnight, don't wait for me” added, before going back to the members.
he didn't even looked at you. not once, before you left the practice room.
𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐉𝐔𝐍
The sound of keys caused your hands to start sweating. you saw renjun stripping off his sweater and taking out his shoes. it took him a few minutes to notice you, in the middle of his room, holding a birthday cake. “happy birthday to you” you sang, watching him smile briefly. the smile never came to his eyes, as he approached you and blew out the candle on the top of the cake. “are you gonna cut it?” you asked, putting the cake on his side table. “i already had cake” he said, “in the company” added.
“oh” was the only thing you could say. “i understand,” you said, watching him looking for something in his closet. “uh, i also have a gift” you remembered, taking out a wrapped box from your bag. you waited patiently for him to finish his work before he approach you. “more paint” he announced. his tone making you feel that you took a wrong decision. “i'm sorry, i just heard you complaining that you run out of paint, so i” “jaemin bought me some” he answered. he stared at the box of paints for a few seconds before taking it from your hands and leaving it somewhere in his closet.
“look, i'm heading out now, some friends invite me to drink beer, feel free to stay as long as you want, alright?” he said, before leaving you in his room. without kissing goodbye.
𝐉𝐄𝐍𝐎
jeno wasn't paying attention to you talking about your day at work. instead, he was immersed in his phone. he didn't even realize when you stopped talking and remained silent. he wasn't there with you for a long time ago. days. weeks. months.
“jeno” you called, receiving a simple murmur under his breath. “i was telling you about my day” you remembered him, watching him fix himself on the sofa and letting out a sigh. “what's the matter?” he genuinely asked, “it's always the same” you nodded, spacing out, before getting up and heading the farthest place in the room. “today was different,” you said, as he went back to his phone, “a guy asked me out”.
“really?” he asked, making you feel stupid because of the blank expression on his face. “what made him notice you?” blurp out. you looked at him incapable of saying a word. “i mean, i'm sure there are good-looking women in your workplace, so why you, among the others?” asked. you remained silent, fearing your voice would be the one to betray you first. “mhm?” he insisted.
“i don't know, jeno”
he got up from the sofa, and went across the living room.
“me neither”
𝐇𝐀𝐄𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐍
“shit” you heard him muttered while gaming. sitting beside him, you reached out his neck and caressed his hair. if he noticed you didn't know. he was consumed by the screen, paying little to no attention to you. for four hours. you had work tomorrow and it was almost midnight. feeling a little upset because haechan were ignoring you since you arrived.
“hae, it's almost midnight, i have to go” you whispered to him, receiving a small nod. “can you drive me home?” you asked, hoping you could spend some time with him on the way home. he stood up without warning and went to his closet. “i need to take a shower, can't you ask for a taxi?” he said, turning his back to you. you then, approached him from behind. “what is it?” you asked, catching him off guard when you hugged him.
he broke the hug when he turned, facing you. “i wanted to spend time with you, but you haven't even talked to me” he rolled his eyes at your words. “don't be dramatic, yn” he pronounced, walking past you. you stopped him in the way, "just... promise me that it's nothing”
he took a moment as if he was trying to spill the words. “promise” as if he was trying to find a reason to not break it.
𝐉𝐀𝐄𝐌𝐈𝐍
jaemin arrived the moment you decided it was enough waiting for him. and when he saw your face, you realized that you weren't worth it even for a lame excuse. “i forgot”.
the silence filling the places where you would be upset, and angry. your mouth filling with words that won't leave your lips. because it was enough. no explanation. no remorse. the blank stare you were giving at each other was enough. there wasn't love anymore. and you have to let it go. you have to let him go.
“i think we should...” he started. “we should” you cut him off. the food was cold, the wine warm. and your relationship ended a long time ago. “i deserve to know” you said, stopping at the doorway, “you fell in love with someone else?” your voice trembling at the end of the sentence. fearing the answer, but wanting to know it. so you could end it. so you could let your heart shatter finally.
“i did” two words were enough, two words caused you to die that day, but jaemin didn't notice it, no one did, for a long time.

[5:45 pm] quokka cheeks 🐿️
Yo, are you still coming over for study night?
[5:47 pm] feisty pants 😒
Yeah, I'll be there around 6:30. See ya
You were preparing to go to your best friend, Jisung's apartment. Every Saturday night you had your study sessions with him. Everyone says college is supposed to be about having fun, partying, getting drunk, laid, or possibly waking up with a throbbing headache or a new lover, and at the same time pass your subjects and be productive in your academics, but that's not the case with the two of you, though you guys used to then the both of you almost failed one of your majors and almost ended up being irregular students so Jisung initiated the study nights. Instead of movie nights or parties, you decided to study for your future.
You arrived at Jisung's apartment and met with Hyunjin, his roommate, by the door wearing shoes.
"Hey Hyun. Nice jacket." You said, complimenting his fluffy black and white jacket.
"Thanks. Bought it yesterday." He smiled.
"Where you off to?" You asked him as you took off your shoes.
"There's a party at Sigma house tonight, you guys wanna come?" Hyunjin said, looking up at you while tying his shoelaces.
"No thanks. It's study night." You shook your head. "Besides, you know I don't go to Sigma house anymore."
"Oh right, sorry." Hyunjin sheepishly apologized, remembering the reason why. "You guys should go and have fun sometimes, you know."
"Next time, Hyun. When it's not a party at Sigma house." You rolled your eyes when you said Sigma. You were bitter about it because that's where you met your ex-boyfriend, Christopher Bang. He's a senior and head of the fraternity, everybody liked him, all the guys wanted to be friends with him and all the girls try hard to get in his pants. You thought he was the one but he broke up with you after a month and told you the reason was that your head gamewasn't strong, which offended you to the maximum level.
"Alright. Understandable." Hyunjin chuckled as he went out the front door.
"Did you bring snacks?" Jisung appeared all of a sudden and startled you.
"God, stop sneaking up on me like that!" You yelled.
"I wasn't! Stop drinking too much coffee, y/n. Seriously." He said and walked to their living room.
His study materials were already spread out on the coffee table, leaving a space for you. You brought out the snacks you bought from the convenience store downstairs and then the both of you started with your study session. Jisung was wearing his glasses, oh how he looked super hot with his glasses on. He was hyper-focused, making flashcards and memorizing tables when you, on the other hand, were distracted. You kept checking your phone and saw Chris' Instagram stories. How he's having a blast at the party, making out with girls, drinking, and playing games while still looking fresh as fuck.
"You know, the unfollow button is there for a reason," Jisung said, not even batting an eye toward you as he compiled his flash cards.
"I'm not following him. This is your account." You said. Jisung realized that you were using his phone and quickly took it from you.
Jisung is friends with Chris since high school, but he rarely communicates with him now that he knows what a dick he is. Jisung met you during freshman year. You were seatmates in a majority of the classes you took and that's how you got close. He was also the one who introduced Chris to you but now he's regretting it. He didn't know his friend would be a total jerk during college when he was a mama's good boy during high school but he didn't know the two of you would hit it off anyways and that Chris would break up with you for that pathetic reason, though it smells like bullshit to him because Chris has been sleeping with different women almost every night after breaking up with you. What a total asshole, Jisung thought to himself thinking that Chris has lost a very precious diamond and replaced you with damn rocks.
"Alright, how about we take a break from studying," Jisung said and sat on the couch. "Movie?"
"Ji, it's fine. I can get back in the zone." You said.
"Please, as if I'd believe that. Come here." He said and patted the couch for you to sit beside him since you were still sitting on the floor beside his knee. "We don't have upcoming quizzes this week so we can relax this weekend."
"Who are you and what did you do with Han Jisung?" You sarcastically questioned. Jisung was never one to just skip study night.
"Shut up and pick a movie." He rolled his eyes. You rest your head on his knees, then an idea hit you.
"Ji, can I ask you a favor?" You asked. His ears perked and looked at you. Jisung is your best friend and you trust him even with your life so asking this favor would surely be okay, right?
"Sure, what is it?" He replied.
"You had sex before, right?" You asked him.
"Yeah, a couple of times back then. Why do you ask?" Jisung replied, looking curious.
"This may sound a bit insane, but.." you trailed off.
"But what," he asked, eyes fixated on you.
"Can you teach me how to you know..give a blowjob?" You said and bit your lip and Jisung choked on his own saliva.
"I-uh—what?" He blinked fast. He couldn't believe it, did he hear you right? His brain is currently short-circuiting. You always asked Jisung to teach you or help you with learning a new topic but this wasn't what you usually asked.
"It's okay if you don't want to..I was just—"
"No. I'm cool with it." Jisung held your hand. "It's just that, it's so sudden, and why me? Why a tutorial?" He asked.
"Because I know I can trust you." You said. "You know what Chris said and you're a very good teacher." You hummed and that did something to him.
"Really? If I know, you're just trying to toot my horn so I'll say yes." He chuckled. "And don't believe what Chris says, you know that probably is bullshit." He said.
"No, I'm not. I mean it. And I really want to learn. So what do you say?" You looked at him with sparkling eyes, you looked so adorable kneeling between his legs and there was no way he could say no to that.
"Alright. Sure." He shrugged, trying to look cool when deep inside it was already exciting him. You clapped your hands in delight that Jisung agreed.
"So first, I have to try to get it hard right?" You asked as you reached to palm over his cock.
"Woah!" Jisung flinched. He didn't actually think that you were going to blow him, just that he was just going to give you tips and discuss it.
"What? I have to do it to learn, don't I?" You said.
"Yeah..sorry I was just startled." Jisung chuckled then he mustered up the confidence to try and look cool and calm as he held your hand.
"Before starting anything, it's important to turn the guy on. You're not gonna get anywhere when he's not hard." Jisung started while you listened intently, getting comfortable between his legs. "A makeout session would work out just fine but, you could also palm him over his pants if kissing isn't your thing."
You reached for his dick again, it was only semi-hard. "Like this?" You said as you palmed him through his sweatpants which made him bite his lower lip.
"Y-Yeah.." he sighed.
You could feel his cock grow slowly under touch which gave you confidence. Jisung was looking at your hand touching him inappropriately and you couldn't help but find it cute that you had that effect on him. Then following his tip, you stood up and kissed him which caught him off guard. After all, why do one thing when you could do both? Jisung was quick to return the kiss and cupped your cheek while you continue to palm him feeling him grow at a rapid pace now. You pulled back and gave him a playful smile.
"Was that good?" You asked him.
"So good." Jisung moaned.
"Should I take it out?" You asked although you knew you should you just wanted him to tell you step by step. He shook his head to focus back on reality from being kiss-drunk.
"Y-yes. You can. Now, stroke it gently a few times then I'd prefer if you'd start with kitten licks." He instructed. "Most men probably don't like teasing but I find it hot."
And with that, you lowered his sweatpants, he lifted his hips up for ease. His hard cock sprung free and you were surprised about his size. Talk about real big dick energy. You didn't know it but you were salivating over it that you wanted to just take it right away. You started with kitten licks anyway because that's what he told you he preferred. He let out a small moan once your wet tongue came to contact. You looked up at him to see him looking at you through hooded eyes. You looked so cute giving him small, kitten licks making his dick twitch a little.
"Like it that much?" You smirked then proceeded to take his advice about teasing, you gently ran your hands on his thighs, giving small kisses on his toned stomach and his hips before hovering over his aching cock, giving it a tongue flick before kissing down to his balls. You heard him groan, his dick twitching and started leaking precum as you continue teasing him, not giving his cock the attention it needs.
"Fuck. You're really good at teasing." He grunted.
His praise made you smile and now he deserves to be taken in. You take the head inside your mouth which made him gasp, feeling your warm, wet mouth around his dick was better than what he imagined. He tasted so good in your mouth that it was making you dizzy. You started sucking it softly while you bob your head up and down his cock which made his eyes roll in pleasure.
"Yeah. Just like that, baby." Jisung moaned and brushed your hair out of your face. You clenched around nothing when he called you baby for the first time. You could feel your wetness and it didn't occur to you that pleasuring your best friend would turn you on so much. "You can use your hand if you can't take the whole thing in." He instructed and you followed.
You wrapped your hand around his length and started twisting it in sync with your bobbing. You swirled your tongue around his length and sucked him good. You then picked up the pace which made him a panting mess under your touch.
"Fuck, you're pretty good at this. You got really good head game, y/n. Are you sure you need—ah..a tutorial?" He said and you hummed in contentment of being praised. Jisung was dangerously close to cumming when you hummed around his cock, any more of this feeling, he was sure to explode. He quickly held your hand signaling you to stop. You looked at him with confusion.
"What? I thought you liked it?" You asked him. Your chin all wet with drool from sucking him off.
"Ye-yeah. I really do. It's just that.." He said, avoiding your gaze. "It felt really good I almost..came in your mouth. I think it'd be really inappropriate to just do it without asking."
His cuteness made your heart melt. He stopped you because he was about to cum and he didn't want to because he wanted your consent to cum inside your mouth? Can Han Jisung get any hotter than that? Good Lord, you wouldn't want to miss out on this, making good boy Jisung cum inside your mouth.
"Then cum." You said, eyes looking directly at his as you lower your mouth to his tip. "Cum inside my mouth. Give it to me, all of it."
And with that, you started to suck him off again. Doing everything he's taught you. He looked at you with lust-filled eyes, cheeks in a light shade of red, and his mouth hung agape.
"Fuck, baby. I'm about to cum." He said and gripped the couch. You hummed to encourage him, the vibrations sending him to the edge, then he shot his warm seed inside your mouth, down your throat while letting out a deep, strangled moan and his eyes screwed shut. You swallowed everything because he just tasted so good inside your mouth and you don't know why. You had definitely put him in a state of euphoria as he was sighing in satisfaction and that made you feel happy and confident with your head game now.
"Thanks for the lessons, Professor. Han." You giggled as you wiped your mouth clean with a tissue.
"You know, since you've been such a stellar student, it's only fitting I give you a reward." He gave you a mischievous grin and then pulled you up to sit on his lap, his lips hovering over your ear which made shivers run down your spine. "What do you think about seeing stars?"

Something Small
pairing: wanda maximoff x gn!reader
summary: you and wanda celebrate your one year anniversary, and she makes you cry. Happy tears of course.
warnings: tiny mention of death of a loved one, wanda making reader happy cry? literally just fluff
a/n: so this one means a lot to me as when I was a kid, my dad always used to play the guitar for me before I'd go to bed the same way his mother did for him. When his mom died, he stopped doing it. i was a kid so i didn't understand how much it hurt for him to even hear the sound of a guitar, but now that I'm older i understand it much more. I understand it even more now that's he's been deployed for over a year and half and even the sound of guitar makes me sad. He facetimed me the other day and played for me when he learned I was having a hard time sleeping, and i instantly burst into tears. My mom hasn't always been the best, but my dad has. So this one goes out to him even though I would rather die then show him my tumbler account. also, just rewatched the nanny diaries because scarlett johansson, and i remember how much i fucking love that movie so if you havent seen it, watch it.
song used as one dad sings because its the song my dad always sung for me: "Sweet Pea" by Amos Lee
The day you told Wanda about your childhood was the day she realized she loved you. It was weird timing but it was the way your eyes shimmered as you talked about your parents and siblings that made something inside her change. It was a look of far gone happiness, one that she wanted to make come back. You’d been dating for six months at the time, and she had recently told you about her brother and parents. “They sound like amazing people.” You’d told her, and she appreciated the way you didnt add a, “they were”. It's strange, but something breaks inside her every time someone reminds her they're dead.
You told her you felt the same way as you told her about your father, and she’d replied with, “It’s because you love him. No matter where he is, no matter what changes in your life, that’ll never change.” She understood it in a way nobody else in your life did, the same way you understand her.
She’s never really believed in soulmates, but if they did exist, she's sure your hers. When she told you that one night as you guys were getting ready for bed, you just smiled and kissed her. You’ve known she was yours since the very beginning.
She was recently sent on a week-long mission, and she’ll be back just in time for your one year anniversary. You both agreed on getting something small for each other, so you bought her a few books she's been talking about recently and some new rings. She’s not a big jewelry person, but rings are something she cannot leave the house without putting on.
The sound of the front door opening takes your eyes away from the TV screen, and you jump up from the couch to run to her. “Wanda!” “моя любовь!” She catches you as you jump into her arms, holding you up with two arms and closing the door with her foot. You move back a bit to look her in the eyes, and it’s silent as you stare at each other with admiration. She has a small cut above her eyebrow, and a bit of dirt on her. Other than that, she seems fine.
She doesn’t drop you as she leans in to give you a kiss, but she does gently set you down as she takes off her shoes and tells you, “I missed you.”
“I missed you too witchy.” You say. You guys stand there in the entryway for what feels like forever, embracing each other in silence before she decides to go take a shower.
When she comes back, she practically forces you to sit down and relax so she can serve the food even though you tell her she should after a mission. Wanda’s always been like that. Caring, even when she really just needs to be cared for.
You guys eat dinner while you talk, the previously silent room being filled with laughs and sighs of contentment. She doesn’t talk about the mission, as she always says she doesn’t like talking about work during her moments with you. She always tells you about them as you guy’s get ready for bed, and you listen to every word no matter how tired.
You guys always split the duty of dishes. She washes, and you dry and put away. It’s a boring process, but doing it with her always makes it worth it. The redhead then leads you to the living room as she uses her powers to turn on your favorite movie. She goes to grab something from behind the couch, probably a present, and you immediately stop her, “Can I go first? Please?” She nods without hesitation, almost like she's relieved she doesn’t have to go first.
Sprinting to your guys bedroom and then back, you join her on the couch and hand her the back. It’s sparkly green- her favorite color, even though everyone thinks it’s red- with white tissue paper. She basically throws the tissue paper behind her with a smile, which turns into a full on grin when she reads the titles of the books you got her. One thing about the witch is that she's easy to shop for. When you first started dating, a list of the books she currently wanted was placed on the fridge right next to the grocery list. You had simply laughed it off, but she continues to update it over time and it's become increasingly helpful.
Then she sees the rings, ones she had pointed out in a thrift store a few weeks ago. She slips on her fingers, and it takes everything in you to not make a comment about how hot her hands are. One is made up of tiny fake pearls, and that one goes on her pointer finger. Then a skeleton bone one, which goes on her ring finger, a small gold one with a red stone on it. That one goes on her pinky. Then a white one with a gold line going through the middle, which goes on the pointer finger of her other hand. She seems happy, and that makes you happy.
She gives you a small kiss and then mumbles against your lips, “Thank you my love.” The redhead sits up straight again, giving you a nervous smile and reaching behind the couch to grab something. She brings out an acoustic guitar, one similar to the one that your dad would use every night when he would play you a lullaby. In fact, right down to the tiny spot of blue paint marker your brother put on the side of it when he was five, it's the exact replica.
“So I um…..I tracked down your aunt.” Your girlfriend begins, not quite meeting your eyes as she fiddles gently with the strings. When you were a teenager and your father first died and your aunt came to pick up his things as she said you and your brother couldn't keep any of his stuff, you wanted to scream at her and rip the instrument out of her hands when she grabbed it. You don’t feel that way about Wanda holding it.
“After a polite conversation and a little bit of threatening, she handed over the guitar.” You giggle, bringing a small smile to her face. “Then I went to Clint and Laura, who spent a very long time teaching me how to play.” Your smile grows and she begins playing a familiar tune. The one your dad played. “They got very frustrated with me very quickly but they said since it was for you, they’d help me learn the song your dad made you. So I went to your aunt again and kind of stole the sheet music. I’m not very sure if that woman likes me.” “That’s okay honey. She doesn’t like anyone.”
You both quietly laugh before she clears her throat and says, “So I’m going to play it for you. I just hope you don’t hate it.” You don’t have time to tell her that you could never hate a gift from her before she's playing the chords. She messes up a few times, but it’d really be no obvious to someone how did not grow up hearing the song. Her honey-like voice fills your ears and it's like you're right back there, laying in bed with your favorite stuffed animal and watching as your dad easily moves his fingers over the frets.
“Sweet pea, apple of my eye.
Don't know when and I don't know why.
You're the only reason I keep on coming home.”
Her voice is different from your dads, but that only makes it ten times better. You can quickly feel tears begin to form in your eyes.
“Sweet pea, what's all of this about?
Don’t get your way, all you do is fuss and pout.
You’re the only reason I keep on coming home.
I'm like the Rock of Gibraltar, I always seem to falter
And the words just get in the way
Oh, I know I'm gonna crumble and I'm trying to stay humble
But I never think before I say”
A few weeks ago, Wanda had laid with you in the dark and quietly asked as she was falling asleep, “What the hell is the Rock of Gibraltar?” You had tiredly told her what it was even as confused as you were, and it makes a lot more sense now.
“Sweet pea, keeper of my soul
I know sometimes I'm out of control
You're the only reason I keep on coming”
She is out of control sometimes, but you know how to bring her back. Actually, you’re one of the only people in her life that can.
“You're the only reason I keep on coming, yeah
You're the only reason I keep on coming home”
She lets the tune ring out into the silence as she concludes the song, and she doesn’t meet your eyes until she hears you sniffle. You have tears streaming down your face, and she instantly panics. “Why are you crying my love? Oh god. I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to make you cry. Was it that bad?”
You send her a smile despite the tears and shake your head. “No. Happy tears Wands.” She sighs in relief, wiping your tears with her sleeves as you take a deep breath. “That was beautiful.” You lean into her touch as she caresses your cheek. “When my dad died……i hated the sound of music. I wondered how something so amazing could exist if something as great as him couldn’t.” She nods in understanding. “My siblings would try to play for me, and I literally broke a piano once because of how much I hated the sound of instruments. As I got older, I got more used to hearing music, but I didn’t exactly enjoy it. It was mine and my dads thing. He would go to work for a long time and I’d barely see him but I knew that at the end of the day, every single day, he’d be there to sing to me. So many things changed over time but that never did. Until….well until it did.”
She listens as you talk, humming everyone in a while to show she's listening but also stays silent so you can talk. You run your fingers gently over the wood of the guitar as if it’ll break if you touch too hard. “But when I met you……you played music everywhere. In the car? Music was playing. Making dinner? Music was playing. Hell you get in trouble constantly for wearing earbuds on missions so you can listen to music. And at first, I struggled with it. I wasn’t going to admit it because I knew how much you loved it and I’m happy I did it. Because now, I don’t associate music with how mad I am at the universe for taking my dad, but with you. My favorite person.” Her eyes sparkle in a way that makes you want to wrap her in bubble wrap and protect her from anything and everything.
“You’re my favorite person too.” She says as she leans in to hug you, burying her head in your neck. “And I love you.” Your girlfriend adds as she places a gentle kiss on the side of your neck. “I love you to Wands.” You mumble.
You don’t see it, but she lets one arm release you and places it in her hoodie pocket, squeezing the black ring box tightly. If she wasn’t sure before, she is now.

I wanted to do some emotional cheating hcs with (Yn) as the other woman. I have posts saying how I think it’d play out with Sero so I thought I’d start with them since the ground work is done. Feel free to request others!
Warnings: emotional cheating (a situationship that was broken off physically but not emotionally), afab reader with she/her pronouns, vaginal sex described, oral (female and male receiving), jealousy, written with plus size reader in mind
Pairing: Hanta Sero x reader
-It was just a casual fwb arrangement
-Just two friends with high drives helping each other out between relationships
-That’s what it was supposed to be, but just a friend doesn’t know all your favorite positions, doesn’t know how you taste, doesn’t invite you over to fuck you stupid every time they’ve had a bad day
-And just a hookup doesn’t know your shoe and dress size or your favorite restaurant and certainly wouldn’t have charmed your family or even get you incredibly thoughtful gifts
-So of course it felt like a slap to the face when he tells her he met someone so they should stop
-Felt even worse when he went back to treating her like just his best friend and insisted they meet
-His new girl was pretty and tall and thin
-Thinner than herself, and she couldn’t help but wonder if he called it off because of some shallow need for a more conventionally appealing piece of eye candy
-Well, at least at first, but things didn’t seem any different between them aside from the lack of sex
-He still called often and she knew it must’ve made his new girlfriend furious because he was always so quick to get off the call when they got back from whatever they were doing
-He still bought her nice gifts for holidays and her birthday, much nicer than you should for a former fling
-And it was cruel, she knew it was, but she took satisfaction in knowing that they were rocky in their relationship
-He confided in her too often
-She knew he hated their friends and them his and how he wished it was easier like it is with her
-She guessed that’s why he’s been leaving hangouts so early, new girl must’ve been calling him away out of jealousy
-She couldn’t blame them though
-And apparently they were a bad cook since he always complained about how he missed when she would cook for him the mornings after they’ve spent the night together
-She had fun teasing him about how he should be careful or she’ll start to think he was flirting with her and start drama for him and his girlfriend about it
-Of she knew she already did though
-She’s heard all about how he ended up in the dog house when he got back with leftovers she’s packed for him to take
-And she’d take a wild guess and say he wasn’t getting enough attention from them because he seemed rather concerned with what or who she did in her free time
-Paying way too close of attention to Mina’s gushing about some guy she wanted to hook her up with and ignoring the conversation he was actually a part of
-She made a show of considering and watched him get more agitated out the corner of her eye until he found an excuse to borrow her for a moment to question what she was doing
-“What? Am I supposed to stay single? Might I remind you you’re dating someone who’s not me Hanta?” “Please (Yn), that guys not even your type. Why pretend—” “You sound jealous, if you don’t want me seeing other men fine, but either make up your mind about who you want or let me make it for you and live my life”
-He wants to argue, make some type of joke about it, anything but admit he’s being an ass, but he knows she’s right
-It shouldn’t bother him this much and it’s not fair to the girl he’s got waiting at home
-Does he even want who he has at home? Maybe they should take a break?
-They do and he knows he shouldn’t have, but he ends up in a familiar bed with a plush warm body that just feels so right to be inside of
-And he realizes he missed this, missed the way his name rolls off her tongue when his tongue is working her to her peak and how her lips felt wrapped around him
-Missed watching how her ass bounced when she rode him reverse cowgirl and how she’d talk back when he’d dirty talk her
-Missed that pretty fucked out expression she’d make when she was satisfied
-He can’t go back to his ex and he definitely can’t just be friends with (Yn) anymore

The Thief is Back
One of my flatmates left recently. She was replaced by a guy I will pretend is named Alan.
On Alan's first day, he needed to hang some clothes. So he went into my cupboard, searched until he found the old laundry detergent container I keep my clothespins in, and used some of those.
Please note that he would have to bend down, and reach to the back of the cupboard, past a frying pan, just to get to the container.
Come to think, the only possible way to find them is if he was actively looking.
For clothespins, or laundry detergent.
When I was showing him around the kitchen, I bought it up. He said he was just confused.
I pointed to the bag of house clothespins at eye level, on a shelf, pretended to believe him, and politely asked him not to do that again.
Earlier this week, I got a new pair of house slippers. I'm kind of low on shoe storage room in my room, so I decided to just keep my regular kicks on the shoe rack by the front door.
Today, I walk downstairs, and look for my shoes, and they're on the bottom rack.
Unlaced.
Someone stole the laces, and then tried to "hide" the shoes. Didn't even leave a note.
And I already know Alan's inconsiderate.
He regularly uses the kitchen shirtless. And he brings friends over, and they drink heavily. Sometimes they slam doors, trying to get the back door to work, while I'm trying to sleep. And he plays music loud enough for me to hear across the hall and through two doors. He leaves the bathroom light on, which means the fan keeps running.
In fact, I think I just heard him walking past the bathroom to get downstairs. I can hear the fan.
And, yep, back to his room. All he would have to do is take one step to the right and reach out.
This matches the profile of someone who shared the dorms with me back in college, who would also drink heavily, sing loudly coming up the stairs - enough to get yelled at by the college staff - drink heavily, use pot - he got yelled at for it when the staff came by to do the aforementioned stair-singing yelling - and drink my juice in the fridge.*
And at my previous flat, the food thief - or possibly one of multiple thieves - was the sort of person who would see a random container of my sweets or a bottle of soda in the fridge, and eat all of it for a tiny scrap in the bottom.
Like that's much better than eating all of it.**
But, I was lucky, because I happened to keep the laces from my previous pair of sneakers. Without that, I'd be forced to go to the grocery in dress shoes.
And at the time, I thought, "Am I crazy for keeping old laces when I'll probably never use them?" Less than two weeks later, here I am.
Also, there are two other pairs of shoes there. I don't think anyone's actually using them.
I'm pretty sure the only reason the thief took my shoelaces was because I had just put in some replacement insoles, which were bright yellow, and they caught the thief's eye.
And then, like a sociopath, he decided to steal the laces. Maybe it was one of Alan's drunk pals, but I don't really care. I already told my landlord.
And for extra irony, the shoes are already wearing through on the heel, which means I have to replace them soon anyway. I think I'll have to break the habit of a lifetime and go for a brand name pair. Amazon has a few on discount for about the same price.
Of course, this is all circumstantial. For all I know, one of the cleaning people stole the laces. I have no way to prove it. I'm obviously a bit biased on the subject
Any road, I think I'll move my laundry detergent and softener to my bedroom. Again.
* The solution was to hide my juice in a tied, opaque, plastic grocery bag. This did not work with the thief/thieves at my old flat, who would open bags, go in people's cupboards, and ignore notes from other flatmates and the landlord telling them to stop. I even put a chain lock on my cupboard, and they still got in.
** It's actually more frustrating. If you have the restraint to hold yourself back, then you have the restraint to not steal other people's stuff.
Also, he drank my zero sugar soda. Basically just nice-tasting fizzy water in pretty colors. I think he'd get more nutritional value out of an OXO cube.
I trapped it that one time by adding lots of vinegar. Then he stopped going after my drinks, IIRC, which also supports my point about restraint.

The Beach
Technoblade x NB! child reader
Hello guys, I'm back. I was going to do this one as a bonding with Techno but then I imagined Wilbur being the cool uncle and that led us here, enjoy!
Not proof read/edited
The young (Y/N) had quickly gotten over the cold and returned to their usual routine of wreaking havoc on the family. Tommy couldn’t even keep up with the toddler and he was the youngest besides Techno’s child.
“(Y/N), Uncle is tired. Can we stop playing chase and sit down instead?” Tommy had his hands on his knees, panting heavily. The toddler ran at him and wrapped their arms around his neck, leaning against him giggling.
"Okay Uncle. We can rest for a bit." (Y/N) smiled at Tommy letting him go so he could sit on his knees. The blonde's arms wrapped around the child as he pulled them close for a hug. He gently swung (Y/N) back and forth telling the kid how much he loves them. He tickled them and they squirmed and laughed until the door swung open revealing Techno, Wilbur, and Philza. They all had shopping bags in their arms since they had just gotten back from the town market.
"DADA!" (Y/N) yelled in a high pitch, they escaped from Tommy's arms and ran at their Father. Techno put the bags down and caught the wild toddler picking them up and giving them a kiss on the forehead, smiling widely. Nobody would ever get to see this side of him except his family and that's what made the moment so special.
"How has my little orphan been?" He asked while the child snuggled closer to him, laying their head on the white fluff of his cape.
"They've been good overall. Attempted to get into cookie dough in the fridge, tried to run outside a gazillion times, and wouldn't take their nap, other than all that though (Y/N) was an angel." Tommy replied standing up, his knees popping leaving him a satisfying tingle afterwards. Wilbur and Philza put down their bags near the couch and took off their shoes. (Y/N) wiggled a bit in Techno's arms trying to peek in the bags that they had. The child patted their father on the back and he set them down onto the floor. (Y/N) crawled quietly towards the bags and peered inside. There were colourful towels, plastic sea shaped things, bottles of sunscreen, and all kinds of other beach themed objects. Wilbur watched the child dig through the bags while the other three boys talked. Everyone was in the living room minus them two. Everything was good.
Wilbur and (Y/N) tested out a few of the beach toys seeing they didn't work as well without sand, so the man decided to leave for the beach early with (Y/N) without telling anyone. He helped the toddler into their newly bought bathing suit that had little tnt designs and changed into his brown shorts shortly after that the two made their escape out the back door. Wilbur and the child hand in hand walked to the beach.
(Y/N) looked everywhere, enjoying everything around them. It was a nice day too, not too hot or too cold. The sun was shining on everyone, and their skin glistened like diamonds in the sunlight. Wilbur stopped for a second to admire the view in a new pair of sunglasses and (Y/N) tugged at his hand.
"Uncle can you let me have a turn?" They questioned innocently. Wilbur chuckled and nodded allowing the child to put on the shades to look into the sky, advising that they don't look directly at the Sun. They stood on the edge watching as other children played with each other. (Y/N)'s voice snapped Wilbur out of his trance.
"Are we gonna have to play with those people, Wilby? (Y/N) asked, sounding hesitant, almost as if he were going to be mad at them for asking something like that. Wilbur shook his and began walking in the opposite direction of the people.
"Jelly, we don't have to associate with anybody because let's face it, not liking to socialize runs in the family, I'm not sure how it skipped both Grandad Phil and Uncle Tommy." (Y/N) nodded and smiled, grabbing Wilbur's left hand and pulling at it, running towards the empty plot of sand and ocean.
As soon as the two had reached the beach, (Y/N) ran straight to the water. Wilbur chased them and scooped them up into his arms the both of them spinning in a circle.
"You need sunscreen silly, 'sides you can't go into the water before we put your floaties on you." The brunette booped the young ones nose and began the fight of plastering the kid with sunscreen and inflatable arm floaties. (Y/N) sat by an abandoned sandcastle and watched Wilbur put his own sunscreen on his body.
"Ready to get in the water?" The lanky man excitedly exclaimed sitting beside them on the sand.
"Mhmm." (Y/N) nodded climbing off of the sandcastle with Wilbur supporting them.
After some time playing in the shallow end, other beach visitors came over to their area. (Y/N) was being dragged around by the other kids splashing them in the water. After an hour of forced socializing the child managed to escape. They really did take after their father.
"Can you teach me how to swim Wilby?" (Y/N) asked out of the blue, bouncing up and down in excitement.
"Of course! Come here kiddo." He picked up the toddler and walked towards the water where a group of adult fish surrounded them. (Y/N) grabbed hold of Wilbur's pinky with their chubby fingers as he went to stand by them, the three year old still held in his arms.
"Hello fishy, this is uncle Wilby and I'm (Y/N)." The fish stayed nearby swimming in circles and Wilbur bowed to the fish.
"Let's make you the most famous mermaid ever!" He held the child above the water to where their belly would touch first. (Y/N)'s eyes widened in shock but they didn't struggle out of his grasp. Wilbur started singing making up different songs for the fish.
"You'll be the most beautiful mermaid ever. Mermaids sing the best song there is." He continued singing and when the song ended, (Y/N) clapped happily. Before no time the man had taught the child to swim, and all his instructions were done in song. When Wilbur lifted (Y/N) higher away from the fish, the fish swam closer, bumping their heads into the little one's chin, causing them to giggle uncontrollably. One particular fish bumped into Wilbur's stomach, causing him to stumble backward, falling on his butt. Wilbur got back up looking at (Y/N) in surprise then at the child who wasn't laughing anymore. Before he knew it, (Y/N) was gone, and he began to panic. Wilbur screamed the child's name over and over, diving into the water and looking for the kid. He felt a grab at his ankle and freaked. When it finally came up, the thing that touched him, it was his littlest child (Y/N), who wanted to play a prank on him. He scolded them for that trick but took it easy on them after tears began to form in their (Y/E/C) eyes.
The sun was setting and the two headed off towards home.
They were quiet for most of the trip, but when they got home, (Y/N) was still sad because they had left their favourite spot. They followed Wilbur up to his room, which had lots of toys in it, along with his bed. Tommy and Philza were out dealing with sonething and Techno working in his office. The three of them did get angry with Wilbur for disappearing out of nowhere with the child but got over it soon.
"Come on little duckie. Let's play a bit more." He picked up the child again and they ran into Wilbur's bedroom, jumping up on his big bed.
"Now, lets see where we can play." The brunette said putting the little one on his lap. He sat with his legs crossed and leaned on the arm of the chair so he could watch (Y/N) as they threw blocks at eachother. They were silent the entire time minus the occasional chorus of laughter. (Y/N) was concentrating on throwing the blocks and hitting the target with great force. The last block they hit landed in between the wall and the bed and bounced off landing right under the wardrobe.
"(Y/N), we're going to have to change the wallpaper for that." He spoke as the little one climbed off of him and opened the wardrobe, they took a deep breath and opened it slowly. They froze seeing the many stuffed animals that were hanging from the hangers. (Y/N) was about to start crying again.
"Don't cry sweetheart." Wilbur cooed placing his finger on (Y/N)." Tommy had to do something like that in Wilbur's room, it was some sort of prank war going on. It was nearing 23:00 hours when Techno opened the door to Wilbur's room to fetch his child but he seen the two passed out wearing tiaras and smeared makeup on their faces he decided to let them be for the night.
"Goodnight my Orphan. Goodnight Wilbur." He whispered and then shut the door.

All That Happened - two
Pairing: Daryl Dixon x OC
Gwen Brooks was paying for school by dancing at the club, and one night, Daryl Dixon found himself there trying to keep his brother in line. When her car won't start, the two find out they might just be the company the other needs.
“Hello?” Gwen answered her phone, cradling it between her cheek and shoulder as she carefully checked the cooling chocolate chip banana bread on her counter.
“‘S Daryl,” he said, and she could hear the shop sounds behind him.
“Hi Daryl,” she smiled softly. “How goes it?”
“It’s just the wiring. Redoing the hose too. Think I’m gonna check all the wirin’ and hoses. Do an oil change. It’s slow today.”
“Daryl, you ain’t-”
“I ain’t gotta do shit, girl. If I offer, I wanna.”
“Sorry. Worried you’ll get in trouble.”
“Ain’t gotta be. It’s my shop. Pop left it to me. Means I can call the shots. When you gotta drive?”
“I can get rides to work, and school is out for break until January. I ain’t got anything. Take your time.”
“Couple days, max. I’ll see y’tonight anyway. Merle, y’know.”
“Meet me for a smoke again. I still ain’t got a lighter.”
“Deal.”
Gwen liked talking to Daryl. It hadn’t been much, but he looked her in the eye. He didn’t make her feel sexualized. And he knew about the club. She didn’t have anyone who did all three other than the girls she worked with, and with them, she felt bad being uncomfortable with the job. Some of the girls minded, but most of them didn’t. She’d been raised to wait until marriage, and there was a dichotomy between the personally virginal Gwen and the Gwen that learned how much money she could make here. It was nice to feel like what she did didn’t define her to someone. That night, she was happy to slip out the door when she saw Daryl slink out and leave his brother.
Daryl hated to admit he was happy to see her follow behind him. She was young, pretty, and smart, and he needed to not delude himself into thinking she might want to be friends with a redneck piece of shit like him. Still, when he bought a pack, he made sure he had his lighter on hand, and he picked up a candy bar just in case she’d want it. It was anticipation more than craving that led him to lean against the wall at the side of the club. She came up from the back, smiling with the cigarette already between her lips. In one fluid motion, he clicked the lighter and held it up with his free hand blocking the wind as she lit up.
“Thanks,” she grinned, exhaling slowly. “How was your day?”
“Normal,” he shrugged, pulling out the candy bar and offering it. She lit up and accepted it gladly.
“My guardian angel.”
“Weirdo.”
“You always answer with one word?”
“Not always.” There was that tug of his lip. He didn’t really look at her, but she’d only tease him for one thing at a time.
“Smart ass.”
“Whatcha in school for?”
“Elementary education. Wanna be a teacher.”
“You’ll be good at that.”
“Yeah?”
“Yeah. You’re sweet. Smart. Close to their size when ya ain’t in them shoes.”
“I’ll have you know the average child is under 5’2” so I’m taller.”
“Sure, princess.”
“You doin’ anything for the holiday?” Daryl stiffened at that.
“Don’t do that shit. You goin’ home?”
“They don’t talk to me because of all this,” she shrugged. It was quiet for a few minutes, and then she looked at him. “You wanna come over for Christmas? I like to cook. Could make hot chocolate and watch a movie.”
“What?”
“Nothin’. Nevermind. I’m not trying to be weird I just-” She was chewing her lip again when he looked at her.
Stop that. I ain’t ever done that Christmas shit. You sure you wanna do that with me?”
“I’m sure. I like being around you. You’re funny. And nice. And accepting. And a good guy.”
“Okay,” he said, nodding tightly. “We’ll do Christmas.”
“Really?” Shit. He was a goner. The way her eyes lit up made him have to work to suppress a smile.
“Yeah. You old enough to drink?” The question sounded meaner than he meant for it to, but it didn’t phase her.
“I will be next month.”
“Shit. I could be your daddy, girl.” It took a concerted effort on her part not to make a joke that he ought to. She didn’t know if she’d want anything but a friend, and he felt pretty sure he wouldn’t want her.
“A young dad though.”
“Eighteen,” he shrugged. “You’re close enough I’ll still bring Wild Turkey for the eggnog.”
“So you do know that Christmas shit,” she teased, bumping his hip with hers.
“Little brother, you got a sm– Oh, hello, blondie.”
Merle stumbled out, and before he could stumble towards Gwen, Daryl put himself between them. Merle stopped staring down at his brother.
“I wasn’t talking to you, kid. You wouldn’t know what to do with her.”
“Merle, leave.”
“Darlina, let the lady decide.” Merle started to try and shove his way around Daryl, eyes narrowing on the little blonde with a thick flannel wrapped tight around what he knew was near nothing. His face hardened when Gwen’s hand went to Daryl’s bicep and she stepped closer to his back.
“Leave,” Daryl repeated, and he tried not to think about Gwen’s hip under his hand when he reached back.
“What kind of dick must little D be slingin’ for you to cling on ‘im like this?” A hand to his groin, adjusting himself as he stepped back with his eyes on her. “Ain’t got nothin’ on ol’ Merle. I’ll buy a turn then. Bought a turn with all the other whores in there.”
“I don’t do extras.” Her voice was barely above a whisper, and Daryl kept his hand on her. If he were to swing at Merle, it would cause more trouble. He wasn’t stupid. He’d stand his ground now. Watch her inside. Drive her home to make sure she was safe.
“Leave her alone, Merle.” Gwen could look up at him and see the way Daryl’s jaw flexed and locked as he kept his stare trained on his brother. The weight of his hand high on her hip was comforting as she stayed close. It wasn’t like her how quickly she’d taken to Daryl, not anymore. Too many people had changed their minds about her.
“Fine,” he finally said, appraising his brother. “You can keep one piece o’ pussy to yourself. Just glad you finally got one. Y’know, my brother cried after I took him to a hooker the first time? Said he didn’t like it. Easy pussy and he didn’t like it.”
“Just go in.”
“Fine. I’ll see you back home, Darlina.” When he slammed through the door, Gwen looked up at Daryl with wide eyes. She didn’t like the way that ended, not because of any offense but because she didn’t like the picture it painted of Daryl’s home life. Add it to the fact he’d never done a holiday, and she thought he was much more used to being hurt and alone than she was.
“Thank you,” she whispered, and suddenly his hand jerked off of her hip.
“‘S fine,” he shrugged, stepping away to give them space again. He hadn’t liked that night, and it still felt too fresh and familiar. He was only fifteen, and he still had hope one day somebody’d be kissing him because they wanted to and he wanted them to. The whole process was mechanical and uncomfortable and a reminder he wouldn’t get those happy experiences he’d seen when he snuck into movie theaters. He didn’t want Gwen to know about that.
“Come to the back in an hour. I’ll be leavin’ and I brought you a present.”
“You ain’t gotta do that.”
“Too bad. Tell Ronnie I said to come. It’ll remind him.”
That found Daryl outside the dressing room, steadfastly focusing on the floor as he waited. When Gwen opened the dressing room door with her bag on her shoulder and clad in flannel and denim, he thought she looked more like herself this way. She held out a tinfoil-wrapped item.
“Chocolate chip banana bread,” she smiled. “Thanks for yesterday. And today.”
“You ain’t had to do that, girl.” He wasn’t sure anyone had ever baked for him before. It made him give a hint of a smile as he took it. “C’mon. You’re getting a ride home.”
“You ain’t-” A lifted brow from him. “Thank you.”
That found him parked outside her place again, and he’d made her stay while he tore off some of the loaf and dropped it in his mouth.
“That’s real good.”
“Ain’t it? Wanted to do something for ya.”
“I ain’t done nothin’.”
“You have.”
“It’s just the right thing. Yesterday and today. All that happened.”
“It’s kind, Daryl,” she said softly, stretching across the truck cab and pressing a kiss to his cheek.
“Ain’t like seeing anybody picked on. All that happened,” he said, cheeks flushed red as he watched her walk up the walkway.

Chapter 3
It had a matching pair of underclothes; the strapless bra with a light purple lace and the underwear, a thong.
I cannot begin to describe to you the look of disgust on my face when I read the word “thong”. Somebody out there fucking went shopping and picked this thong out with the intention of Liz wearing it.
“Don’t get your panties in a bunch. I’m not as useless as you think. I was with Riley a few months ago when she bought you that dress; I helped pick it out.” He took a step closer towards my back, and his finger traced my bare shoulder. “I also helped pick out the rest of her present.”
That doesn’t explain how he knows her bra size.
“Tonight we will have fish. Okay? You like-a the fish?”
What the fuck. Why would you write this?
“Elizabeth, why didn’t you ever practice law? Your grades were decent.” I choked on my water but he continued on, unruffled. “You could’ve been hired on to a company in New York or Las Vegas. Or, if you wanted to stay closer to home, Atlanta.”
I put my glass down, then took a bite of my salad, tasting it thoughtfully. After I swallowed, I answered. “There wasn’t a good law firm near home. A career in law wasn’t important enough to me to leave. The pack always comes first.”
“If that’s the truth, I find it pretty ironic that they abandoned you. You gave up your dreams of a good career to stay close to them, and when it came time for them to stand by you, they left you high and dry.”
Is this a fucking joke? Liz wanted to stay with her pack, but you kind of showed up, murdered her parents, and chased her from town.
“Eat.” He mimicked taking a bite with his hand. “Try it. Tell me if you like.”
What is she, a fucking five year old? She knows what the word “eat” means.
“Fernando, I specifically requested fish this evening.” Fernando waved at him.
“Yes, but the woman, she don’t like the fish. So we all eat chicken. Okay?”
He served the rest of the guys. Elias frowned, his eyebrows furrowing. “No, that’s not okay. I wanted to eat fish, not chicken.”
Fernando stopped to stare casually at Elias. “Oh, well. I’m sorry. But the fish is bad. You no eat.” He waved his hand in front of his nose, like something smelled gross. “I’m sorry but I taste it, and it taste bad. Sour. Foul. The market sell me bad fish. You can’t eat.”
Help, why is this so fucking funny?
The notion that literally not one single person on Elias’s staff remotely respects him in any way is *chef’s kiss*
I frowned and walked towards the bed to finish putting my sock and shoes on. “I told you, quit calling me ma’am.”
Chapter 3 summary: A few days pass before Elias’s right hand man, Ryker, shows up and drags Liz away. He says that Elias expects her for dinner, and it’s not an invitation.
At the house, Liz is allowed to shower, and has to put on a dress… However, the only underwear she’s given are gross in a sexy way. James comes in and is basically a creep to her about how he’s the one who picked it out for her.
Downstairs, Elias keeps trying to get Liz to open up about her experiences with Aria. However, it’s obvious to Liz that Elias’s inside man isn’t in Aria’s inner circle, because Elias doesn’t know shit about what really happened. He also admits that he killed Liz’s dad because of his connection with the queen. Liz is obviously sickened by the entire thing.
Throughout the entire scene, things keep being interrupted by the Italian chef. He refuses to make the fish that Elias wanted, and keeps getting angry when Elias tries to order him around. It’s honestly pretty great.
After dessert, Elias, Ryker, and James drag Liz into a room that’s full of magical artefacts. Elias brags about how each and every single of them, he basically stole or murdered for. He shows Liz her necklace, and tells her that if she tries anything, he’ll fucking shoot her boys in the head.
She then goes back upstairs to change out of the dress, and is frustrated that there’s no other pairs of underwear. She’s undressed when James comes barging in, because he’s that level of creep. He taunts her about how Easton and Hunter are going to be forced to fight each other to the death, and asks who she thinks is going to win. And then gets into her face and is like “That’s right, it’s Easton.”

Choose a Side
The Bradfords Series Masterlist (4/?)
Pairing: Tim Bradford x fem!wife!cop!reader
Summary: Lucy asks for your opinion on a date, not expecting you to take sides. You do choose a side, but not the one she thinks.
Warnings: fluff, banter, grumpy!Tim
Word Count: 1.3k+ words
A/N: There are two random references in this (an Eric Winter movie and a previous Tim fic). Which is completely irrelevant. Enjoy.
The station is quiet when you walk through, but you know better than to get comfortable in the calm moment. It’s not superstition for you, just that you know the people you work with, and even if there aren’t many calls, it still won’t stay quiet for long.
“Hey!” Lucy calls behind you.
You smile at her interruption and stop walking so she can catch up to you. As she approaches, you notice that she’s looking over your shoulder.
“Is Tim with you?” she asks.
“No,” you answer, “he’s helping Angela with a case. Do you need him?”
“What I need is a second opinion and I do not want his.”
“Okay,” you drawl. “What’s up?”
“So, I’m going on a date tonight.”
“Please don’t say it’s with a cop,” you murmur.
“With a firefighter.” Lucy stops and tilts her head to ask, “Is it really that bad to be with another cop?”
You raise your hand to her arm and smile. “Lucy, I’m kidding. Tell me more.”
“His name is Alex. He’s been a firefighter for a few years since he got out of the Army. We actually met while playing tug-of-war and he was super flirty, but apparently he actually likes me!”
You ignore the odd way they met and choose to say, “Don’t sound so surprised he’s interested. When’s the date?”
“What date?”
You and Lucy look up together, wide-eyed at the sight of Tim approaching. He furrows his brows and keeps his eyes on you rather than looking at Lucy.
“I’m cheating on you?” you try.
“What date?” Tim repeats, completely ignoring your attempt to remove suspicion from Lucy.
“I have a date,” Lucy admits, “with a former soldier who is now a firefighter.”
“Killer turned arsonist. Way to pick them, Chen.”
“You were a soldier,” you point out.
Tim turns his chin toward you long enough to argue, “And you used to be nice to me.”
“Tim," you warn.
“Didn’t your last boyfriend leave you so heartbroken you bought jewelry from the evidence room?” Tim asks.
“I bought that because I like it,” Lucy defends, crossing her arms across her chest. “This is different.”
“Which station does he work at?” Tim inquires.
“Does that matter?”
“Yes,” you answer, with Tim. You frown as you add, “Sorry.”
“29,” Lucy says quietly. She raises her voice and glares at Tim to challenge, “Do you want his shoe size and social security number as well?”
“Lucy, some of the stations are known for having firefighters that are terrible people. Trust me, I’ve met more than my fair share on calls,” you explain. “Tim’s just trying to look out for you on that one.”
“Oh, so you’re taking his side. That’s great!”
“Lucy,” you reply with a laugh. “29 is a good station, right down the road, so we would know if it wasn’t. They’re good people.”
“As good as firefighters can be, you mean,” Tim adds. “What’s his last name?”
“Tim,” you chide. “That’s none of your business.”
“There can’t be that many guys named Alex at station 29.”
Tim pulls his phone from his pocket, and you snatch it out of his hand.
“If you call Nell to ask about him, I will take Kojo and Lucy to the station on my lunch break to hang out with firefighters.”
Tim shakes his head before he turns to face Lucy.
“Aren’t you supposed to be working instead of talking about date night outfits?” he asks.
“Oh, outfits!” Lucy exclaims. “We didn’t get that far!”
“Nope,” Tim interrupts. “Get to the shop, we’re going on patrol.”
“But I never got a second opinion.” Lucy pouts as she looks toward you, and you smile.
“Lucy, it sounds like you and Alex get along really well. You should go, have fun, and just see where the relationship may be able to go.”
“Thanks, Mom,” Lucy says, raising her arms to hug you.
“Boot,” Tim barks when the hug lasts for a second too long. “Shop.”
“He’s so grumpy today,” Lucy whispers in your ear as she pulls back.
Tim nods at you before he turns to follow Lucy to the garage. You look down at his phone in your hand and smile. He’ll realize before he leaves and come back for it, and this time, you will let him know that you really did pick a side.
“I need that,” Tim says as he returns.
You tuck his phone behind your back and use your other hand to grip the collar of Tim’s uniform and pull him closer. Face-to-face, you look into his eyes before you speak.
“Don’t look into him,” you demand.
Tim’s brows pinch before he asks, “What do you mean?”
“Tim Bradford, if you start a fire just to meet Lucy’s date, it will look like you care about her. A lot.”
Tim clears his throat softly, then nods once. “Can I go now?”
“Sure,” you agree, smiling as you release his collar and step back. “But she’ll tell me if you interrogate her in the car.”
“Why does it matter who my boot dates or when?” Tim inquires as he straightens his shirt.
“I don’t know, Tim. Why does it?”
Tim grumbles as he takes his phone from your hand.
“I love you,” you call after him.
“Not as much as Alex, apparently.”
“This is by far the most illegal but sweet thing you’ve ever done,” you tell Tim. “Pretzels?”
“It’s not illegal,” Tim argues, extending his hand for a snack. “We’re just enjoying a date night. What’s wrong with that?”
“The fact that we’re not just enjoying a date night. Tim, you’re watching someone else’s date.”
“You can’t say you’re not interested.”
“I can,” you argue, lifting your phone. “I’m watching a cheesy romcom about a widower who owns a restaurant and coaches little league but falls in love with the woman who wants to buy him out.”
“Riveting,” Tim mumbles, turning back toward the restaurant. “Where’d she go?”
The back door behind you opens before Lucy slides into the car. You offer the bag of convenience store snacks over your shoulder, and she accepts it to look for her favorite candy. Which, of course, you bought for her. Uncomfortable with Lucy's presence, Tim shifts as you pause your movie and remove the earbud you’d been using to listen to it.
“How was the date?” Tim asks.
“You tell me, it seems like you saw just as much as I did,” Lucy responds.
“Sorry, Lucy,” you interject.
“It’s okay. I mean, if he was a serial killer or something, I’d be glad you’re here.”
“That’s what I said,” Tim defends.
“But he wasn’t.”
“Told you,” you tell Tim. “She can take care of herself. Besides, Alex is a sweetheart.”
“You’ve met him?!” Tim asks loudly.
You nod and take a bite of your snack before you explain, “On a call this afternoon. Nell attached me to it.”
“Oh, so I can’t call Nell, but you can?”
“I asked her to watch for an opportunity,” Lucy says.
Tim shakes his head and throws his hands up. “I give up. Lucy, do you want a ride home?”
“Your home or mine?”
“You’re not spending the night.”
You chuckle in the passenger seat at their bickering. Tim doesn’t look at you this time, too focused on the road as he pulls out.
“How was it?” you ask Lucy.
“It was really good. We’re going out again.”
“When?” Tim asks.
“Don’t answer that, Lucy,” you suggest. “We can talk tomorrow.”
“Right,” Tim scoffs. “And she was worried about you picking sides.”
“You know, you could just say it,” Lucy tells Tim, leaning toward his seat.
“Say what?”
“I love you. Trust me, you tell me once and you’d feel so free. I love you. That’s all it takes, Dad.”
“The guy in your movie didn’t have to deal with this,” Tim mumbles.
“He actually did have a kid,” you say as he approaches a stop sign.
“Wait, what movie?” Lucy asks excitedly.
As you begin explaining the plot to Lucy, Tim shakes his head. You know he cares, and when you get home and kiss him, maybe he’ll reconsider simply admitting it.

Ugh, imagine Enea taking you on a first date at a carnival 🫠🫠
Enea Bastianini x Reader - First Date Part 1/3
Summary - Enea takes Reader, a tourist, on a first date at a carnival. And later tells her that he is a MotoGP rider.
Enjoy!
You were on the verge of throwing up, making it the worst first date in your life. However the guy was hot, so fucking hot. Who could blame you for sticking the night out.
"There you are?"
You were crouching down behind a cotton candy booth in a desperate need to collect yourself as a pair of sneakers appeared on the ground before you.
"Where did you go?"
You tilted your head up, meeting the brown eyes and charming smile of your hot date.
"Enea!" You jumped to your feet, brushing the dust of your dress.
He chuckled. "We're we playing hide an seek or something?"
"No. I was just....just...."
He cocked his head to the side, a curl irritating his eyes as he did.
"I just had to tie my shoes." You lied. God, he was attractive, and the night was still young.
"Cool. Do you wanna go on the ferris wheel?"
"Again?" You could feel it, the burger you ate an hour ago. It was coming in hot, back up your throat.
"You're right. I guess we should try something else." He said.
Thank god.
"How about the sling shot?"
"How about paintball?" You suggested, directing Enea towards the game booths.
You never enjoyed carnivals as a child and being forced to ride the ferris wheel three times over just confrimes as to why.
"I guess we should make use of the tickets we bought." Enea said, handing over three of them to the guy working in the booth. The guy then handed you two painball guns and stepped aside for you and Enea to have a go at the soda cans behind him. You'd think Enea would take it easy on you, considering that the two of you were on a date. However, he went all out, hitting his cans like a bounty hunter on a mission. Apparently, he really wanted to get his hands on one of those giant plushies. In this case, a giant penguin, which he chucked under his arm as the two of you made your way through the carnival.
"So, are you just in Rimini for the summer holidays or...?" Enea made an effort to match your pace, walking slowly beside you.
"Exactly. I came here with my family." But decided to ditch them for a guy you matched with on Raya. However, babysitting your little brothers sounded more and more fun the longer the date went on. "How about you?"
"Me?" He frowned.
"Yes, you? Are you from Rimini, or are you just visiting?" The people from the east coast of Italy were usually exposed by their Emilia-Romagnian accent. It was joyful yet pedant. Just like this date.
"I was born here." He nodded. My parents have a house here in Rimini, near Misano, actually.
"Oh, so you're here visiting your parents?"
"Something like that." He chuckled.
You stopped walking. "What? Did I say something funny?"
"Not really, it's just that...." He stopped and stared at you, searching your eyes as if to read your mind. "You really don't know who I am, do you?"
"Erm...should I?"
"No. Not necessarily."
"Well, now I'm curious. Are you someone famous or something?" After all you matched on Raya, a lot of celebrities used the app to meet people.
"Well, I'd say that a lot of people from Rimini know of me."
"Because you're from here?"
"Exactly."
Okay..." You pressed a finger to your mouth, visibly trying to guess who this guy thought he was. Frankly, to you, he dressed like any other italian you've seen walking up and down the beach. If he wasn't another local flirting with another tourist, then who was he?
"Maybe I should show you?"
"Show me?"
"Yes, come on."
You promised your parents not to leave the beach where the carnival was. However, there was something about a guy with a motorcycle that drove you crazy. Enea assured you that he wasn't planning on kidnapping you. The opposite, he was taking you to see where he worked, which was out in the countryside somewhere. Needless to say, you held on for your dear life as the speed of Enea's motorcycle slapped the wind against your helmet and blew your dress behind you. Something told you that you were truly in for a ride.
I am the cameraman
